True though if he's not showing it in training then its hard to slot him in. The times he has played he started well and went south before too long and looked off the pace and sloppy later in the game. He currently hasn't the legs to get up and down for 90 minutes and that's a stamina issue that is not addressed on match day, only one game a week usually, that ain't gonna keep you fit
Do you honestly think Rodgers picks anyone based on them in training? If so Johnson/Skrtel/Gerrard must all be ****ing amazing in training, because they've been woeful in matches

How we set the stall means nothing really without looking at Bournemouth and how they are set up, it's how we shape up with the ball and then without the ball. For example, when we had the ball at OT and Moreno goes on a jaunt, our shape without the ball made it so that Rooney would be unmarked on the 18 yard line because our midfielder lacked discipline, well, Moreno did too waltzing back through center mid when he actually had time to get back to cover behind Allen if he had sprinted, heck Moreno could even have tracked Rooney (do Allen's job while Allen does his), without the ball, we were ****. I have not watched Bournemouth play so I can't speak to markovic's role.
WTF kind of line up is that... Rodgers better prove he is a real genius because I cant see any tactics or structure in that. I wouldnt be surprised to see Sterling or Markovic at LWB.
That team just wreaks of desperation though. A complete mismatch with lots of attacking midfielders, just seems like Rodgers is trying anything for a result.
No Striker again, Cause that worked really well on Sunday. Use Balotelli, best chance he's going to get goals. Would be a test if he can't do it against a Championship club (albeit one doing well) he's never going to be able to do it for us in the Prem and then we could sell him in Jan safe in the knowledge he's utter toss.
Gerrard and Lucas at the back again? Has never worked. Lovren starts? Debateable. No striker? Risky again from Rodgers.
