gnome - definition (nōm) n. 1. One of a fabled race of dwarflike creatures who live underground and guard treasure hoards. Idiot.
Assem Allam must go, that's all there is to it. The man (thing?) is a pig and a plague on our club. I'm actually starting to wonder if he's the produce of an alien experiment combining the DNA of a snake, a toad and a human being.
So, your statement about changes not mattering was just a load of bollox. No surprise there. How are the membership figures going for the We Say Yes To Hull Tigers group going?
If have thought even 1000 people thinking it was a bad idea would be enough for him to take notice. That's a lot of people to piss off and while it might be a 'minority' in terms of the whole fan Base, it still nonetheless represents a large chunk of people. If 1000 people gathered outside the stadium in protest, thered be trouble.
So it looks like our saviours have revealed their true colours. They wanted the club so they could get the ground and the land around it on the cheap. Now they can't they've got no interest in spending a bean and they want out. Why do we always get 'em? Come back Don Robinson!
I like Mr Allam as much as you Happy most of that has nothing to do with football. BUT THE FA SAID NO He should have accepted it and moved on with his plan to bring more money in . He can leave tomorrow for all I care . I would have accepted the name change if the fa had said yes But they didn't He lost the name change fight . I'm sick of it..... What's bloody stupid is I have never met one person who would answer yes to a yes / no straight name change question. And Mr Happy a new owner might just be our greatest owner EVER . Exiting times may be ahead.
I think we should all chip in and have Eva Cassidy sing it outside Allam's house at 3am every morning for a year That'll learn the ****ing berk
A bad scrabble player always blames his tiles. No way was Dr Allam going to aquiesce the FA and why should he ?. He will have taken legal advice and top legal advice on this to keep on the battle. The delay is for a reason and the FA are on dodgy ground regardless of what the rules state. But its interesting watching this all unravel.
Is that so. ? You certainly dont. You really need to think first if you can. About time someone challenged the FA.
The FA have rules, they followed those rules, the arbitration process is just a pathetic attempt to drag this ridiculous saga on for a few more months by a bloke who simply won't accept he lost. It could have been resolved earlier, but the club didn't want it effecting the January window.
Aquiesce - big word for you tickles. Bravo. Although it pains me to tell you that you've spelt it wrong.
When they are in the wrong yes. Anyway Allam isn't challenging the FA he's just trying to get his way. There's no fool like an old fool (whoever thought that saying up knew something).
The idea that Allam took legal advice, let alone 'top' legal advice, is hilarious. No one tells him how to run his business!
Football clubs are full of fans who fancy themselves as football club owners, but don't have the nous, the dosh nor the bollocks to ever achieve that goal. They therefore take great pleasure in pawing over every decision made by those who've done what they never could, and all the while thinking they'd be doing a better job. Ocassionally they might be right, but more often than not they aren't. As they're not making the same calls in the same context with the same financial committment...... In the case of Hull City, setting the name change issue to one side, I am flabergasted how the current owner is viewed by a segment of your fanbase, given exactly were you where when he arrived, compared to where you are now, as a football club.
Each to their own; I will always remember, Mrs Robinson - the chair, the long silky legs, the Giggle Band. . . . . . . . .hmmph, sorry folk, just need to pop off for a couple of . . . .
