You would think that, wouldn't you? But they probably won't - he will continue with Henderson as RWB, Lovren, Skrtel and Toure, with Lucas and Gerrard in CM (no Can). If Sakho, Can, Manquillo and Markovic don't start - then I can't I'll just lose faith in Rodgers. Rodgers has it in his head that players like Gerrard and Skrtel/Lovren are the reliable seniors who will see us through? It's madness.

If it is for the greater good then yes! We win this game, Rodgers gets another lifeline. I want him off immediately. I'm all for giving time for someone who deserves it, Rafa could have had more time not this arrogant, clueless, dossier carrying t**t. He's full of s**t and i swear i want to punch his face every time he opens his gob. This is one of the least important games we'll play, if a loss means 'Brenda the clueless' gets the sack. Then as much painful it is to see us lose, i'd take it right now.
Should we do the impossible and win tonight, our only hope would be to draw Sheffield. Should we get the chavs, Tottenham/Newcastle, we will have to play an extra 2 games of suffering.
I'm going to go against the tide here and say that (despite the "hype") Bournemouth will put in a spirited but average performance and we will do the bare minimum and win 3-1 (scoring the third as they press for an equaliser late on).
I can understand where you're coming from. Me personally, I just never get that feeling of wanting to lose. Even if we lose meant that United don't win a title, it's just hard to go into a game with that mentality.

Lol, Rodgers has actually lost the plot. What has Can done wrong? Personally I think he is the only midfielder who has performed, yet never plays.
Can can play a bit but positionally he's been all over the place and off the pace a bit, he's alright for 45 minutes and then looks knackered. Seems to me he hasn't adjusted to the pace of this league.
