if you take Diego Fabbrini you have a free Lloyd Dyer and as an especial offer Lewis McGugan as well.

If we want to get promoted losing our best defender wouldn't be the way to go about it.. Meanwhile the ghost of Bassini is still lurking.. http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/ne...ring_for_ex_Watford_FC_parent_company/?ref=mr

They had to get a couple of all Premier league ties in! Nothing on the Friday night or Saturday - due to the Premier league teams not being able to play till Sunday I guess.
Another Swede to join in January? http://www.fotbollskanalen.se/itali...ighet-att-han-gar-till-granada-eller-watford/ Or is it just agent talk..
http://www.watfordobserver.co.uk/sport/11670792.Watford_will_consider_bids_for_McGugan_in_January/ Sort of confirms that.... McGugan probably off for good, as will be Fabbrini, Ranegie possibly staying & no loan extensions for Bassong or Guedioura. Hmmm
Already decided Guedioura isn't the man then? Cannot say Bassong has impressed me as much as I hoped.
I dont think any of these will be missed. Out of all of them I think Bassong has done OK without actually shining. if Hoban can rediscover his form I'll be a lot happier.
I think Guedioura was only ever here to get fit for the ACoN. Hopefully Hoban can stake Bassong's place in the starting 11 alongside Cathcart and Angella, with Ekstrand and Doyley the back up. Bassong only really came in when Angella got injured anyway. If we can get a bit of money for McGugan, then good, but with the 2-team rule, guess we have to seel to Sheff Weds or no one. Apparently it looks like we will be paying half of Andrews £25k a week wage until May, but if he is a disruptive influence, then good he is away from the team. Although the main reason stated he was out of the squad was due to so many loans, so with Guedioura and Bassong going, will there be space for him... bridges may have been burnt with Joka though
Given his current injury, will we be able to off-load McGugan in January? Kev, I thought the 2 team rule was purely for permanent teams, as I think Jakubiak will still be able to play for us, despite already having played for Oxford and Dag & Red this season.
I don't think the McGugan injury ended up that bad - a concussion so just a week or two out, maybe I thought that was more to do with 'youth' loans, but not totally sure to be honest. I thought the rule was a player could be registered to 3 clubs in one season, but only play matches for 2 of those.
