Morning Elland. I think your ref thing is highly likely to be true although maybe 3 of the pens against us were genuine. But not getting one is also a joke. Don't know what Redders is talking about because we know Leeds don't get all the good kids. Never mind the likes of the boys like Luke Garbutt and the ones who went to City and Chelsea, we know that the City Academy is run by our former Academy Director who was sacked by Bates. We also know they have a top former Leeds Academy coach who has relationships with all the Yorkshire schools and boys clubs and he takes the best. We only get the ones who fall through the net, or who want to come to Leeds because some parents convince their kids to go somewhere where they can earn big cash and get a full time education at the same time. We closed our education wing, boarding house, housekeepers, medical wing etc. The place is a shell compared to what it was like when we had a conveyor belt working. Those kids who came through before were ready for the first team, and these are not. Does that mean the coaching isn't as good?I would say yes, or does it mean the kids are not as good because a lot are with City? I would say yes to that too. Redders was good but he's not as good as Paul Hart or the guys we sacked who went to City. Fooks sake bates introduced charges for parents too as he thought he could make more money out of them

Byrams problems are likely caused by being over played at a young age. Same may happen to Cook. I see our neighbours Sheff Utd may sneaka Wembley final if the draw is kind to them

Good morning from a dull damp Cote De Bardsey to Matt and his boys. We have produced a couple of young talents in Cook and Mowatt still not convinced about Dawson but from what I saw Charlie Taylor will make it. I am pleased we are bringing in some new faces if only to shut Glory and the sniper up.We definately need someone who will give us options at free kicks and corners and someone wide and an enforcer I expect Hunt who has been a total failure Murphy who has not performed to his expectations Norris who hasnt performed at all White who has promised lots a bit like the Labour party and given nothingAustin who clearly wants away Morrison who hasnt gelled with the team or the fans The academy staff were all enticed to City I knew one of the coaches as my grandfference was that son played for them and the difference was like 5 star and 1 star Bates as usual gave the parents nothing I had to take him to Nottingham to playthats how tight they were

Personally, I think we need a David Batty type midfielder who can sit infront of the defence, mopping up.
Morning Eire, well said. Redders made the point about a month ago that Byram was overplayed a few seasons ago. I don't see him resting Cook or Mowatt, and Cooks only 17. We have Dawson, we have Sloth, Montenegro, Murphy and Tonge that don't get ANY game time. If we are strugling, changes have to be made. Its clear the pieces of the jigsaw don't fit together, and however hard you try, you can't force it. I'd like to see Sloth in for Bianci Drop Cook or Mowatt for Montenegro (for a couple of games) who can also go forward and link up with the strikers.

Almost every kid that came through a few years ago ended up as a top prem player and many played for their countries. The nearest we've got in the last dozen years was Delph playing for England but remember we sold him 5-years ago, like we sold everyone else of note. Howson was supposed to come good but lets be honest he may be one of the best we've produced for a while but no international. Young Cook could do it, Byram may do it, Mowatt may do it but we're a mile away from where we were a few years ago. Parents will not pay to have their kids coached and they won't take shyte when their lad can go elsewhere. Why should parents stick with Leeds if they don't see other kids progress into the top flight. Cellino will sell TA and don't blame him. The place has been ripped apart and sold off in bits, and left to run down to save bates money. We need to build a new purpose built academy and invest in boarding and education again to get back to where we were. Fook me City have just built a fooking huge complex with 43 pitches and a 7,000 seater stadium, hotel, education block ...... We got a second hand mini bus
