Will do - I drop into this thread from time to time, but don't have much access to PC as I'm on the road a lot - most stuff I post is from my phone which is awkward for posting videos (and I can't seem to view videos either)
Sorry, another repeat post from me but I just love this live version on Going To California. A beautiful song and John Paul Jones mandolin playing sounds so sweet here!
Bump! Cheers Sooper, I keep coming back for more of this, top selection my music thread partner in crime!
Sorry Aqua, I missed this post so please forgive me. A top selection of bands you have seen mate. To say I'm a tad jealous would be an understatement. I was just too young and missed this golden era!
Sorry, that's put me in the mood for this again...
And now this, let's rock!
And last one from me tonight.. Peace!
Good list Aqua - always loved The Groundhogs since my uncle introduced me to them when I was a kid - Thank Christ For The Bomb!
that's ok mate.....here's a few more that didn't come readily to mind first time round if you're interested.... Steve Hackett Trapeze Lindisfarne Jack the Lad (a lindisfarne spin off!) Wilko Johnson Band George Hatcher Band ( southern us rock a la skynyrd) Sailor Ffox Abba !!!!!! Coldplay !!! Anti Nowhere League .....and heres a few new bands Ive seen that my lad's band has played with/supported. Fearless Vampire Killers Black Light Burns ( Wes Borland from Limp Bizkit's new band) Ashes To Angels Dead. Amarylis - did their uk tour last year.
Nice one. Steve Hackett, a massive fan here and I have been lucky enough to have seen him twice now. One of my 1st music memories was this track off the Cured album. My father was a massive prog fan and this was my 1st fave tune, I was only six when this came out. The funny thing is I have ended up in a job making air conditioning ductwork and it can often be a mare.. Love it!
Sorry, I'v just posted this on Kiwi's Christmas song thread but it's from Steel Panther..

..some new stuff, FVK...this band are going places....not everyone's cuppa but my lad is mates with them. My lad is in this vid at 35/36 seconds in. ...this is Black Light Burns (wes Borland's new band, ex Limp Bizkit) love this, so much energy! Also Aqua, fair play for listing Abba. I can't sing but I still like to have a go. One of my at work random sing out loud songs is this and it annoys the s**t out of my work mates. Not so much the song, just the fact I can't sing it,lol..
