Because we all need a competitive edge to the pre-season, I've decided to do what the title says and do a prediction game.

You have six pre-season games according to the BBC, starting on Weds 13th July, which is not too far away. These games are:

    Wednesday, 13 July 2011
New England Revolution v Man Utd, 23:00

    Thursday, 21 July 2011
    Seattle v Man Utd, 03:00

    Saturday, 23 July 2011
Chicago Fire v Man Utd, 22:00

    Thursday, 28 July 2011
    MLS All-Stars v Man Utd, 01:30

    Saturday, 30 July 2011
    Barcelona v Man Utd, 18:00

    Friday, 5 August 2011
Man Utd v New York Cosmos, 19:30

    Rules:

-You post the match with the score inbetween them, like the example:
    Home Team 2-3 Away Team

    - You will put your six predictions in bold or in a quote separate, so I can see them better and I can ignore comments afterwards.

    - You must enter by 12th July. Under your final predictions, you'll say something like 'final predictions' and I'll add them onto a different thread.

    - 3 points if you get the score (3-1) correct
    - 1 point if you get the result correct (Utd win)
    - 0 points if you manage **** all

Rules will be extended as I figure them out.

    My Predictions:

New England Revolution 1-2 Man Utd

    Seattle 0-2 Man Utd

    Chicago Fire 1-1 Man Utd

    MLS All-Stars 1-3 Man Utd

    Barcelona 2-2 Man Utd

Man Utd 2-0 New York Cosmos

    Good Luck <ok>

    Barcelona 1-0 Man Utd

Man Utd 3-0 New York Cosmos

I know its only a friendly, the Barca game could be interesting, to see if the club has learnt anything from the the final.

I honestly cannot predict anything because honestly, I have no idea what MLS team is good and who isn't. I don't know my Galaxies from my Cosmoi. Hopefully we'll exact a bit of revenge on Barcelona. We haven't always beaten all the MLS teams when we have played them in the past though.
