So you telling me Fletcher did more against Chelsea & Man city than what Altidore did? if you think Fletcher did do more then I think you should stick to welding.

There is loads of games where Altidore has played well. both home & away against Newcastle. home to Stoke when he got the player sent off, Fulham away & what about Altidore 4 assists in the cup run last season. the lad did more in the cup run than f**ing Fletcher & Sccoco did but funny enough poyet leaves the poor lad out of the final for them 2 mugs. what did them 2 do in the cup run? **** all I tell you.

You need to learn to read mate, it's not that difficult if you put your mind to it.

I simply asked you to back up your claim that Altidore played well against Chelsea and City, i never mentioned Fletcher or Wickham at all.

I'll say it again, i don't recall Altidore having a decent game all season.

Surprised this is still rumbling on, but maybe it is an indicator of how a player can divide an opinion. Giacc's miss against Villa was the ball bouncing up from a divot , Vaughan's own goal against Everton in the cup was similar and so it goes on. Goals have been missed for years and we get over it but because it is one particular player then the knives are out. We can go on forever about who should be where or do what, but he does wear a red and white shirt, is our player who has teamwork to offer. His value is 6mil, where some other failures have been in the 30-50mil.

Frustrating as it is for some, I predict he will probably start against NUFC to wear their CBs down for Fletcher.

I would rather have Watmore up front to be honest, I hope he gets a game either Hull or Villa, what have we got to lose ?

Ok, I back it up. when Altidore came on for Fletcher against Chelsea & Man city the team had more workrate, more movement, won more headeds, hold the ball up better & we even look like scoring some goals. you may disagree but me & many more people thought the same.

I'll say it again, if you thought Altidore didn't change the game then stick to welding pal.

Let's put him in the Ted Purden goalscoring category.

he played 90 minutes for every u21 game until his injury. So he's been subbed off for an Injury once. Thought you 'knew' everything? <doh>

Jozy is 7/2 anytime scorer. Shocking odds. I'd sooner go O'Shea anytime scorer at 16/1

I think Shola is more likely to score all the way from Turkey. Idiotic odds.

I don't keep up to date with the U21 but the last time I seen them was against Everton & Villarreal & the lad got sub twice because of injury.
