Thierry Henry has announced his decision to retire from professional football. It brings to an end one of the most highly decorated careers in professional football. He won everything there was to win. I wish him all the best in his future endeavours. I hope to see him back here in some kind of coaching capacity. He is Arsenal through and through. All the best Thierry, you will be missed. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...irement-football-joins-Sky-Sports-pundit.html
Best player the Premier League has ever seen. I was lucky enough to see him play between 2000-2002 when I moved back to London briefly and I was there to witness the legendary goal against Spurs where Henry carved through their whole team from our penalty box. Love the way Henry talks about that goal and the picture of him sliding in front of the Spurs fans in this video. He is a Gooner to the core
He should be brought back to Arsenal as a striker coach and used as an ambassador to help market and promote the club. He is one of the worlds most famous players and the club should capitalise on that. He has stated his desire to go back to the club, it's a complete no-brainer.
One of my favourite players, exciting to watch and charismatic. Closest thing we have to that is Sanchez at the moment. I think he should be brought back in some capacity. It's obvious he gets on with Wenger, loves the club, is articulate and has bags of experience. Who knows, he might have the makings of a good manager, so why not bring him back and see. As Bonstar said, even if it's as a striker coach, his experience would be invaluable to players like Welbeck, Walcott and Sanogo.
My all time favourite. What an absolute legend. Think he could do a great job at Arsenal as a coach - Wellbeck could certainly take a lot of things from his game.
I have no doubt that he would benefit from Henry's guidance and advice. Welbeck has some similar attributes to Henry so it would be only logical for Henry to mentor him.
Henry has said that he would like to come to Arsenal in a coaching capacity. He also said that because he didn't win the Champions League with us as a player, he wants to help us to do it as a coach. I think we'll see him at the club again one day
No Ballon Do'r and a poor goal scoring record in the CL. Knowhere near the best player to play in the PL IMO. Ronaldo was miles superior, as was Shearer and RVN
metro.co.uk/2014/12/16/this-stat-proves-arsenal-hero-thierry-henry-is-premier-leagues-best-ever-striker-4989186/ - best conversion rate of anyone ever in the PL. Quite simply...the best.
Class player, class man. Would absolutely love to see him back at Arsenal one day. Hopefully first as a coach and then a manager. He has the intelligence, knowledge and footballing experience, lets hope he has the desire as well.
Cracking player. Would put him in the second tier of players I've had the privelege to watch either live or on the box.
