It really shows how dense MOTD pundits are when they start talking about Carrick as a centreback. He did a good job and brings composure and experience there but they made out that was his best position. It's as if they see a decent performance and then start writing the script. Complete idiots. And then to top it off they used that to suggest CB could be Gerrard's new role at Liverpool fcking clueless planks.
One thing I missed yesterday, did the wonderful Stevieme kiss the camera? Or did he miss the opportunity by spending too much time in Carrick's pocket?
They do keep showing that on the highlights don't they. There was a point when there was a hint of a slip, just managing to stay on his feet. The crowd were on to him and immediately cheered and started singing the infamous Gerrard Gerrard chant. Unsurprisingly haven't seen it on any highlights.

Weve now worked out that if we do nothing we tend to win. Let the other team do the hardwork. Its their home after all.
I was thinking if we get past the new year then we really should be. A couple of other tricky ties for both i think. Enough points dropped to put us within touching distance possibly?
Imagine we won the league though. Unlikely as it it just think how unbearable we would be. We wouldn't even neee to actually say ir do anything. The whole site would meltdown. To be honest it would be a health hazard for large numbers of ethnic ugandans, qpr's away support and graph makers so we should think about that.
Just bear in mind we had an equally "challenging" run of games at the same point last year iirc. No excuse to not finish top 4 and we right royally fcked it up. Other things to consider... Get past the tricky games to the new year and the transfer window opens. New CB and possibly a DM signed??? Get to the end of February and if we are within touching distance, both Chelsea and City have the CL to worry about as well. We won't.
Ah yes. We no longer have a pile of **** deluded **** of a manager who like some other no mark pile of **** thought he was better than he really was. **** you steve round
We are still some way off from challenging for the title, even this season when the top two teams are fairly ordinary. Don't kid yourselves.
We are not that far off. In our shoes they would be nowhere near where we are. That should be noted. weve fielded our best 11 on one occasion. Put it this way. Had van gaal come in a month sooner... Were top of the league right now.
Yes probably. Having said that this "football! bloody hell". Anything could happen and if truth be told these fixtures are no more difficult than the last six we've had. And players are coming back from injury. Many RS fans are saying on their board that the roles have been reversed. That their team is playing like united did under Moyes and that we are playing like they did with Suarez. Scoring goals as well as coping with a s**t defence. If we did push this to its logical conclusion, Are they saying: United are going to be in front with 3 matches to go???
Jesus christ on a **** ing bike, what a load of bollocks. Falcao has just come back from an injury, he will come good for us.
I think that about sums it up. Another thing that's s a factor is we have nobody really chasing us for 4th (or 3rd for that matter) as things stand. We're not striving for top 4 having to fend off 3 or 4 other teams.
