Whatever you do, opt for general anesthetic not local. With mine they didn't use enough local and I could feel quite a bit of pain, along with nauseating tugs and snips. Plus there's the eye-watering agony of a needle in the gonads. You might be groggy if you get knocked out, but that's not the end of the world. You'll need strong painkillers for the couple of days after, and no strenuous activity for a couple of weeks or your wound might reopen as mine did All in all it was worth it, even though I did **** myself a fortnight or so after as the full enormity of what I'd done finally sunk in. But the peace of mind is very rewarding in the long term
It's a doddle. Local anesthetic. Went in, Dr askd me if I was sure. At 40 with 3 nippers I was sure. So it was a case of chop chop. Him and the nurse chatted away about cookery programmes as he fancied himself as a chef. No pain at all. The strangest thing is it feels like someone has their hands inside your stomach and they are tugging away at your intestines. Walkng around pretty much immediately. No more condoms needed with the enemy. Happy days.
I forgot to mention, they needed a chainsaw to operate on me. I don't know if this is the normal procedure.
Yes, but you will never be a real man again. Your testosterone drops and you start to grow boobs. Before long you will be watching Sex and the City and have no idea what the off-side rule is. On the plus side, you will be able to make great sandwiches.
Ive been put off by a mate of mine who had a torrid time. He downed 2 bottles of whiskey and doubled his painkillers and was still in agony - maybe he' just a bit of a tart tho?!
My missus wants it done too (running out of space in our house). Spoke to a guy at work about it and he said he had sore nuts for SIX ****IN WEEKS afterwards. On top of that, he had another kid afterwards - he has split from that bird now so if it was a milkman job, I reckon he'd have told us about it. I'll get it done if I have to but I don't want to put my poor wee knackers through all that - they've been good to me
We found out we're expecting our third (completely unplanned) kid a couple of weeks ago. I'm in my early forties, I don't think I can handle the lack of sleep beyond one more so will definitely be having it. To be honest, they can chop my bollocks right off if it means no more after. I'm a bit concerned by this ongoing pain between the legs though, I play gold and squash loads and it sounds like that'd have to stop for a bit.
I had mine 2 years ago yesterday (not that I'm mentally scarred by it or anything ) and they're still sore at times.
I know. If they are all that way inclined I could have two at university at the same time with the other having just left, and me at home sixty ****ing years old knowing I'll have to work till I'm at least 70!!! Oh, happy days.
My wife is pushing for me to have it done, I'm usally quite good with pain but no so when it's in that area.
A mate of mine had it done recently (well, before Christmas) Unfortunately, whatever they did didn't work as he's still not firing blanks.
