Half way through the first part. It's a 2 part mini series on Sky Atlantic. Second part is on tonight at 9. It's very very good.
She's a maths teacher, very dry humour. Her man's a pharmacist. It's about their lives in the small town they live in. Like Mick said, not a lot happens but it's very good.
I'm watching Marco Polo, which is new to Netflix. Excellent stuff. Any **** wants to give it a bash just use my Netflix account. Email: [email protected] Password: CunnilingusExpert88
Realistic portrayal of Polo's life? Or more American pish for ****s with low IQs and short attention spans?
Neither really. The portrayal of Polo ends with the name. The rest is VERY loosely based on him. As for being for ****s with short attention spans, it has a bit of depth to it. The politics isn't something you'll really grasp unless you've read up on Khublai Khan (I have - it was thrilling). Good bit of shagging in it too. I urge you to watch it.
It's better than the regular Dinner Date but I noticed they're doing a Celebrity version over the festive period. This could well trump Marco Polo as the 'celebrity' in question is Made In Chealsea's Hugo Taylor <swoon>
I did read that (got a signed copy) but wouldn't trust it too much. For one there is a lot probably altered/lost in the translation to English, and these great leaders of the past are known for giving exaggerated accounts in order to make themselves look better (even Caesar).
