Based on the fact that your defence is worse than Liverpool's and the lad's over worked saving your bacon. He's a great shot stopper and probably at present has sharper reflexes but he doesn't command his area half as well as Courtois or Cech.
Its down to the goalkeeper to command his box not the defenders and thats gonna cost you another £150 mil for that privilege.
Hard for a keeper to command his area when he is unsure how his centrebacks are going to react (no good colliding with them and leaving the ball to the opposition), this comes with familiarity and consistancy. No cost incurred to correct this, just playing the same defence for a few games should sort it

True. For much of the season our defence has been made up of kids and midfielders. Even when everyone is available it will be a young group with no experienced leader. Yet we have the 4th best defensive record in the league. Only Chelsea, City and Southampton have conceded fewer goals (a massive four in the case of Chelsea and Saints who have the best records). I suspect all three would have conceded more if they'd had two wingers playing as full backs (even when we've played a back 4) and an academy player at centre half for much of the season. De Gea has been outstanding.

We've only conceded 4 more league goals than Chelsea this season with Ashley Young playing at left back and children at centre half! £30million should suffice.
