I'm working with a young man who's not been with us very long. He spent the spring and summer travelling round Australia. We got talking about football and when I told him I was a QPR fan he said he was in a pub on OBZ day (he called it the playoff final) and it was wall to wall QPR shirts. I've seen the videos but to hear 1st hand how impressive it truly was and he thought they'd moved West London down under. It made me very proud of you all and I just wanted to say thank you.
We are do alright over here. There is now a supports group called Hoops down under. Which is very well run. There is lots of fans in most major city. I believe our Queensland Division was the original group. We started all meeting the 2010-11 season. But those in Melbourne do it the best as they have a lot more fans down there. Mark managed to get a Tony to do a bit of a speech before OBZ day for them down there. There is a very good blend of Expats and Aussies a few Kiwis thrown in as well. If any of you guys are planning a trip over here don't worry about missing the football there is always pub showing the game and we can always find you some one to meet up with.
