This is what happens when you think your a football genius of a manager and buy a player like Balotelli? What was the Irish git thinking? thought he had the midas touch after last season, and got drunk on his own ego........<laugh>

What's more concerning is the fact that Rodgers confers with Pascoe pitch side? Pascoe is as thick as they come, and doesn't have a clue, I watched enough of his garbage with the reserve team at Swansea for years, the guy is tactically clueless?? Just thought I'd let you know that one, in case you hadn't worked it out. Pascoe was never let lose in our first team coaching staff until Brenda appeared! Pascoes experience with our reserve team was playing against Welsh league Giants like Neath and Llanelli and then he couldn't win games, and this is your assistant coach?....<cheers>

    Not his decision.

He made it quite clear he did not want him.

The plus side is that if Rodgers is to get the boot Pascoe will probably go with him. Problem then would be we'd be left with Marsh in temporary charge.

Fair enough, must have missed that one, where is Borrini by the way? Not seen him near your bench even, is he injured?

He's not no. Said on Twitter a day or two before the Basel game that he is fit and ready to go. Rodgers just hates him for some reason.

    Yup.

Borini is well and truly out in the cold.

We should have taken a cut price offer from Sunderland just to get him off the books and get rid of a problem.

He is not getting a game so what's the point in him being here?

Edit Borini requested to stay (I forgot).

No he's being booted out the club in Jan, if Rodgers is still there. Its been made clear that Borini was to be sold, almost went in Summer to Sunderland, he stayed claiming he wanted to fight for a place. Stupid decision really from Borini, I get that he wants to fight for a place at Liverpool but its hard to fight for a place when the manager has made it clear you're not wanted, has tried to sell you and because they want rid wont give you a game.

Strange as he coached him at Chelsea? shame you didn't sell him to Sunderland then, he was good for us in the Championship though, fair play to the lad.

Moreno, Manquillo, Sakho, Can, Markovic - Rodgers has these players at his disposal who can come into the first team and have a good impact. He needs to have more faith in them because at the moment, he's playing some serious dross and it will cost him his job.

Ronald De Boer says Frank De Boer would seriously consider managing Liverpool at the end of the season. Would love to have him. <ok>

    Recently?

    --------

Ajax manager Frank de Boer believes taking on a project at Liverpool is a far more alluring prospect than managing Barcelona.

The former Holland international has built a reputation as one of Europe's most promising young managers having led Ajax to three consecutive Eredivisie titles with a fourth looking likely having been in senior club management for just four years.

His growing profile saw him linked with the Liverpool job following Kenny Dalglish's departure in 2012, a job he turned down according to his brother Ronald. De Boer is also considered a candidate for the Tottenham Hotspur job with Tim Sherwood's future uncertain after a disappointing five months in charge.

The Ajax boss has also been linked with a return to former club Barcelona with Gerardo Martino's position under scrutiny, but the Dutchman doesn't believe the Catalan giants would be the right fit for him.

"As for the football, the club is a match for me," De Boer was quoted as saying by Voetbal Primeur when asked about Barcelona.

"But do you really think I can teach them? Players like Messi, Neymar, Iniesta, Xavi and Alves? In the club you are more of a people manager.

"Then it would have been more fun to go to Liverpool, since there was improvement to make. Look where Brendan Rodgers is now with the club."

Having lifted the club from underachieving European outsiders to Premier League title favourites in just two seasons, Rodgers' position at Liverpool is unlikely to be questioned anytime soon.

But De Boer is unlikely to be short of alternative offers. Should Sherwood leave White Hart Lane this summer Spurs chairman Daniel Levy could be tempted to approach De Boer once again. However he may have to look elsewhere with the Ajax boss adamant there is more to be done in the Dutch capital.

"There is still plenty to win (at Ajax)," De Boer continued. "Reaching the second round of the Champions League for example."

Bournemouth are unbeaten in 12 I believe and are top of the Championship and at home so they will be very confident.

It is going to be a real struggle which could see us getting beaten.

Can and Mark must play. And Balloteddy now he's played today.

    I think we'll win 2-1
