Strewth bruce what nearly happened there? I did my usual today which was to switch my computer on and agonisingly watch the stats on the beeb site. Swimmingly is what I thought as it went 0 - 1 after 2 minutes, then 0 - 2 and eventually 0 - 3. My Missus then asked me to do something so I had to switch off. 15 minutes to go she said and they are three up so have won this one. Flicked the Final Score on after completing task and suddenly it was 2 - 3 and it took, or seemed to take, an age for the final score to come through. What the fudge happened there then? Cruising for most of the match it seemed and nearly F****d it up. I'm almost glad I had to switch off for a while because I would have been a tad nervous they were going to drop another couple of points at the death. As it is a very nice 3 points and grateful for them.
Think a point before kickoff would have been grateful to most of us but to take all 3 a real bonus. Seems like Northampton just went for it and played some good fooball by all accounts. Have to give them full credit though for trying. Never realised Exeter are right on our heels now!
They've been there for a little while now hp_bedoboy but they haven't caught us yet. Forgetting the supposed rivalry for a moment though they have been playing very well allegedly so unless the backside drops out of their season again which it has before then we might be fighting them for a Wembley place at the death. Or god forbid playing them there. I watched the news tonight and saw the goals. All well taken without a fluke amongst them. Pick of the bunch in my opinion was the Kellett goal. Went past 3 players as if standing still and just cooly tucked it past the keeper. Great effort and am so glad he has signed for an extention. I just hope we can keep our loanees for the rest of the season at least.
It sounded like a proper nail biter at the end. Starting to get a little concerned about the injury list though it sounds like Nelson's isn't anywhere a bad as it sounded on the radio. Think we will fare better than Exeter, they lose their best player in the Jan window whereas I doubt we will lose any of ours and will probably sign a least one of the loanees on a permanent deal.
According to pasoti Nelson dislocated his elbow and even after it being popped back in he wanted to get back on. If that's true then it shows his committment at least and says a lot for his Captaincy material. I don't like to listen these days despite how tempting it is. Everytime I do they lose and I'm getting paranoid about it now. We are bound to get injuries but lets not hope it is too many at once which will be the problem. Especially when some suspensions kick in as well. I don't really care what Exeter do as such but their current form is tasty. Given their budget they are really doing fantastic. Like you though I think they might fade if former habits kick in.

Blimey notdistant, was this bloke watching???? To be fair they are playing much better football this season and they don't do anywhere near the amount of lump it up the park anymore.
The bad news to follow the 3 points is that Nelson will be home for Christmas and into the New Year. Bleddy slacker.........not what we want right now with a load of games stuffed into a short period.
