I think helping get children involved with coming to their first game or something would be a really positive step. I went to my first game when i was 4 free through some scheme and 16 years a season ticket holder!
Running total now Dutch? Just so we've got some idea for suggestions on what to do with the surplus. Is it likely to be ready for Swansea? Certainly think Brucey needs to see a show of support from us.
Why don't wear the banner as a cape and run around the pitch for 90 minutes? Imagine how effect this will be.
I'm stunned at how generous people are. As it stands, money is still coming in, and other donations have been promised. Some have also offered donations, but if it's to a charity they already donate to, they'd rather carry on with their existing system. I reckon we've something in the order of £ 170 to put to good use. The figure could still rise further yet.
Aye, them air traffic controllers have no consideration. When I ordered it, they said they were extremely busy and that there was virtually no chance of it being ready for Swansea, but every chance we'd have it for the Leicester game.
Why not another banner? Other clubs have loads scattered around the stadium and we don't currently have any.
So far, the suggestions have been for other things, but if you've a suggestion for a banner design, we can see what people think. It's up to people on here what happens next.
This is my thinking also. Why not keep this going indefinitely. I'd be willing to donate more as and when I can. I'm sure we could come up with plenty more banner ideas.
Club legend captain fantastic Ian ashbee deserves a banner. He should have a statue outside the ground.
Other banners wouldn't have to be specifically about certain players or people; they could be generic ones like "From Boothferry to Wembley" or whatever.
