Been linked with Le Fondre from Rotherhan (500-750k) and getting Peter Leven from the MK Dons on a free according to rumours site. Heck knows how true this is. Probably go to League One clubs paying more..
Le Fondre would be a good bet. My Rochdale friend stated he was exellent for them and likewise for the Merry Millers. Rumour has it in the West Country that Chris Zabroski is on his way to the Hornets.
Im sure SD has plenty of targets on his wish list and him and behind the scenes everyone is working very hard to bring in some quality and strength. Who knows what tomorrow brings, and its a new week, so new news.
Would be happy with Le Fondre, but can he cut it in the Champ? Also did go off the boil last season i noticed and I don't think he started to many of the games at the end of the season? As long as we can find a 15-20 goal striker i will be happy as i think Sordell will be more consistent this year and i think Deeney will start firing them in! Hoping Weimann comes back on loan and then just get one more in so again we have competition and don't over rely on one player
JET, remember 2 years ago we were disappointed to have signed a striker from Carlisle who hadn't scored in the second half of the season before...
Used to live in Rochdale so saw them a bit when Le Fondre played for them. Very good striker, worked hard for them (Danny Graham esque) so that would be a quality signing!
The rumours about Danny Webber don't seem to be going away. He is known to both Dyche and Woan, but is he what we are looking for? Would have liked Craig Davies from Chesterfield but he's gone to Barnsley on a free.
I gave a shout for Le Fondre back on the 606 forums and still think he would be a good replacement for Graham. Not sure what truth, if any, there is in this though but would love to see us go for him!
