Good opening 15/20 minutes followed by a 15/20 minute period where Swansea were all over us and evened out by the end. Very lucky to be going in winning given the chances they have. This referee is awful, when there's minimal contact Swansea players throwing themselves to the floor(even Bony) and get the freekick, yet Walker got booked for handball after he did the same and Kane got shoved and tripped by Williams on the edge of the area and got nothing. Vertognhen's tackle was a good one I thought but refs seem to think it's a booking these days, not sure what Mason got booked for. Commentator's **** too nothing in the Lamela "elbow" or the Kane "dive", you can see in the replay that his left foot hits the defender's shin on the backlift causing him to kick the floor and fall. Just an accident but much like a tap tackle in rugby, a little contact to someone's leg whilst running will often stop even the biggest player dead in their tracks. Anyway, we need to sort ourselves out in defence, either play the offside trap properly or not at all. With the conditions as they are the ball is slowing down a lot makin it easy to play through balls so we should probably drop the highline and look to play off their defenders' shoulders too. Oh and take Walker off, on a booking and lacking match sharpness is a bad combination.
Montero looks good. im baffled why no one ever stands out in our team..well im not baffled at that..im perplexed at what is going on at Spurs.....every one plays like they are sluggish and slow and in a coma.
Only Kane and Eriksen's had a fairly decent game. The rest should be embarrassed. Sold-a-dud off for Dembele.
Being overrun in midfield...piss poor at the back (as per usual! ) hopefully, Dembele can have one of his better games and shore things up.
Just got in...saw dembele come...and since then we have give the ball away non stop...has it been like this all match?
My congratulations to the magnificent Soldado. He managed to have fewer then about three taps at the ball today.
