Handicap, s are there to be picked apart . Personally I prefer them and they can hold more value if you can spot the one ready . But obviously there is unfair play involved occasionally and as mentioned it is hard for the stewards to see and even harder for them to call .

    Brilliant from No More Heroes.

Ruby didn't put in his best ride but I don't think that made too much difference in the end. Got to be ultra impressed by No More Heroes. That's a top, top horse for the future.

So what will the plan be for Shaneshill now after this afternoon currently second in the betting for the SN but on that performance he will not be beating his stablemate

Little e/w dabble on Flemenstar's full brother Barafundle in the Pertemps Qualifier at Carlisle - loves juicy ground and dropped 7lbs from his efforts behind Battle Group in spring 2013. Will probably need this but loves the mud.

David De Gea. He's a brilliant keeper. Loved that win. We're not that good but we keep churning out 3 points. Who knows where it will take us.

Shaneshill - I don't think he did anything wrong. Just bumped into something that looks exceptional. There wasn't much in it in the end so it's not like there's any disgrace in losing today.

    He won really well.

How hard does it look at Navan today? I'd like to see the times because they looked to be going up and down on the spot at from a long way out.

Pretty nice performance from Bordini. Patrick looked like he was wanting to win on the bridle but Nina got a rare old rattle out of Attribution (who was the first of the 4 leaders off the bridle but stayed on really takingly). Bordini only needed to be shaken up briefly to quicken away again though, looks a really nice type.

You seen Carlisle today Bob? Horrendous. That mare of McCain's could've won the bumper by a street if Maguire had wanted, eased her very heavily to score by 24L with a further 48L back to the third.

I'm sure many flat followers on here will be delighted to learn of Jamie Spencer's change of heart on retirement from the saddle.
