Which one has a bigger fanbase? I imagine it's Cardiff to be honest, based on city size alone. Which would suggest to me that they're the bigger club.

We're in the Premier League now. Forget about Cardiff. We have bigger things going on. There's more to life than being better than Cardiff.
Pointless argument. Obviously at this point in time Swansea City in the Premiership are a better team than Cardiff City in the Championship. Next season (God forbid) that could all change if we are relegated and they are promoted. So we start all over again with the boot on the other foot. This is a fluid situation - things change over a period of time then change again and every time this old chestnut raises its boring head. As A Casual Fan has posted there is more to life than being better, or worse, than Cardiff City. For now, we are better. Big deal? Not really.

Hmmm I beg to differ here!! Yes Cardiff may be a bigger city however Swansea have a much larger catchment area stretching from Bridgend to the back of beyond in West Wales and quite possibly as far North as Aberystwyth so I conclude my investigation and deduce that Swansea is by far the biggest club.
