I can't stand all these people who listen to EAMON and jump on the bandwagon of 'something's going to happen' just cos HE says it will. I know nothing's happening at the moment and don't get me wrong, I'm against nothing happening, but is something happening going to be any better for us? The problem with 'something's going to happen' is that the nothing that's been happening has softened you all up so much you'll just accept any old thing. Be careful what you wish for with that EAMON, you mark my words now. Backing the notion that 'something's going to happen' without an affadavit and an escrow fund in place could all end up in endless wums!! (How do I know? Sshh! CernyBerny told me... )
Eddie please stop winding everyone up. If things were that bad warnock would have walked. I think it's pretty evident that something big is going on behind the scenes regarding a sale hence no new signings until a new regime is in place but don't start saying you too are ITK! Christ am I the only person here who isn't?
You're not the only non-ITK on here WBA, I don't know **** all neither. Think that pretty much puts us ahead in the game of what's going on... Now what about a spot of breakfast? Oeufs et du bacon avec panée peut-être? Tasse de thé... du lait? sucre?!
Evenin Brixton. Was just contemplating a late supper of kedgeree and a glass of single Quinta Warres '83 which is drinking v well at the moment. For the record I know no-one, am not related to NW or even meet Chris waddle at 7.58 each morning for his daily gossip / briefings. I just watch ssn listen to 5 live and check the offish. Somethings going on alright but I have no idea what. Look Arsenal are in complete meltdown, Liverpool have done all their dosh on a single player and tevez reckons he's off - again. There are chaos theories at every club and we are worst than most. It's always been a mess and part of me likes the fact that we are generally useless both on and off the pitch. That way any success seems doubly good. It's not about the winning or losing, it's the taking part that counts
I hope you are right Eddie. And personally i feel this would make total sense but i thought this would all happen back in June. Unless something happens soon i don't feel we will be ready to hit the new season running. I personally think our first six games are paramount for our season. If we can get a good start we could be ok. Thing is if there is unrest and upheaval through out July we could struggle in the first few games. If we are to get in new signings then they need to be in place soon, not just as the season starts or late August. Lets hope something happens this week eh.
Please Please Please keep hold of Derry & Hill, they will be pure "class" for you lot in the Prem League. What with Hill and his pace and Derry with his silky skills!!! You are welcome to Ambrose now boys, he is on 10k a week with us, and he did not earn that last season. He has done his part in a Palcae shirt, now let Warnock bugger him up. By the way, when are your mega rich owners going to put their hands in their pockets??? Next year is going to be fun to watch................
What Palarse would like and what they get will be two different things! After the input by Derry to lead this squad, and his role in pulling the team morale together, there's no way NW will let him go. If Tango & Cash push the deal then NW will be able to walk and take his two years salary with him to an early retirement.. he's not daft is our NW.. he won't be walking out. Once the season starts, NW will need Derry, either in the team or on the bench. Don't expect this to happen.
That's the first Nigel I've seen on here since last October! I thought Lovely Geezer had scared you all off elsewhere?
http://www.yourlocalguardian.co.uk/sport....turn_for_Derry/ Freedman dismisses Palace return for Derry Tuesday 5th July 2011 By Graham Moody » Dougie Freedman has laughed off rumours former captain Shaun Derry could return to Crystal Palace. The 33-year-old left Selhurst Park 12 months ago to join Queens Park Rangers and helped them reach the Premier League. Even though he has a year left on his contract, talks on a new deal in west London are said to have stalled, leading to rumours Freedman was chasing him in the hope he might return for a third spell at the club. But the Scot has scoffed at those claims. "There's nothing in that at all," he said. "We get linked with a lot of players and there is not truth in that one. "We have one of the most read fans forums in the country so what happens is people go on there and mention a name and then it gets picked up. "But there is no truth to that one at all.
Do you think I'm gonna suck in all that Jude the Cat told you so baloney like the rest of them on here. Like I say, no affadavit, no ITK status for you!
