Score in every game, i think most of us would be happy to see the bell-end score in one f***in game. As was mentioned earlier couldn't score in a brothel even if he had a fifty pound note wrapped round it. The sooner the window opens he should be shown the door.

Altidore couldn't put the ball in the back of the net, if the goal post's were from corner flag to corner flag.
Would very much like to see a young'un in his place.

Gus Poyet revealed Jozy Altidore was almost inconsolable after his latest open goal gaffe blew Sunderland’s chances of a rare home win.

The United States striker was guilty of a shocking miss in front of goal in the last minute of the first half as Sunderland were held by high-flying West Ham at the Stadium of Light.

Altidore, who has started the last two games instead of Steven Fletcher, has now scored one Premier League goal in 42 appearances.

Poyet said: "It was the only thing I have watched back.

"I watched it because I didn’t know what happened - and I still don’t know what happened.

"He was devastated. I have never seen Jozy like that before. If Jozy scored you would say to me what a great decision to play him, but unfortunately he didn’t.

"We know he needs a goal."

Sunderland have now drawn 10 of their opening 16 games and face Newcastle in the Tyne-Wear derby next Sunday.

Poyet added: “I am getting a bit frustrated now. I am here to win games, but at the moment it is not possible.

“If someone doesn’t change dramatically individually, like a player winning player of the month, it is going to be like that the whole season and it will be difficult.

"I'm the king of the draws!"

    Roughly translated: see ya Jozy

I feel sorry for Jozy - he's had bad luck since the world cup -I was keen a supporter of the player, he's completely lost his mojo- buts it's time for him to move on for his sake as well as ours

Well, sorry Gus but you're the man in charge, if you think something needs to change then you certainly have the powers to make that change. Stop bleating and get on with it cos guess what? We're all sick of the lack of goals as well.

We are two wins from being ok…..unfortunately we are two defeats from being right in the SH*TE. Seriously, two wins all season is not good enough. If we don't get a few wins on the board, sooner rather than later, we will be fuc*ed. Over the course of the season the team who wins the least finds themselves in the bottom 3.

Considering we have only played 2 teams at home who currently sit in the bottom half i think we are not doing too badly! Stoke....which we won but Stoke are never easy, and Everton....a draw, who are a better team than their position suggests! I think that if we had a more balanced fixture list i would have expected to have somewhere beween 3-6 more points than we have now, which would see us sitting ok. I just hope we perform well in our remaining home fixtures against the teams around us. Its these games that will make me nervous! I've got a horrible feeling about the Hull game!

When I saw the fixture list at the start of the season my pesimists hat influenced me into thinking a repeat of last season was on the cards, being cut adrift by new years day and having alot of catching up to do! So I think we are better off than we could have been!

Poyet, you did the right decision in starting Altidore above Fletcher but please stop moaning & start going for teams move.

Not in my eyes it wasn't. Altidore has did well against Chelsea, Man city & Liverpool so he should of started ahead of Fletcher.

No he didn't. Continuing with altidore up top when we need goals is a v. Poor decision. At least that will be his last game for us as he looks completely destroyed confidence wise.
Agree with you on the second part. His whinging is starting to get on my tits.
