C**ty sort of pen against an inexperienced young keeper and he celebrates like he won the world cup. What a shameful little bastard.

If Quinn ever commentates on another one of our matches may the Dark Lord Satan drag him screaming down to the bowels of hell for a eternity of violent sodomy.

The first fourty mins it was men against boys and we should have been 2 down within 30 mins if the ref had allowed that goal from welbeck which should have counted

    This.

Football is definitely turning into a non contact game. Please bring back the 1970's version of football. You couldn't dive and cry like Sanchez in a game without getting grief from your own fans. Well except Francis Lee and Man City fans.

    Disagree.

    Thirty mins not forty mins.

Welbeck fouled Janmaat so correctly disallowed.

Penalty was a free kick to us.

    3-1 possibly fair scoreline.

It was a disappointing performance today. Senior players like Colo and Tiote were below par on the ball and the team's general carelessness in giving the ball away too often put the defence under too much pressure. Jak was not to blame for any of the goals but his lack of experience meant that mistakes by others were more easily punished than they might have been had Krul been playing.

However, some positives to take from the game are that we did not fold. 4-1 is a bit of a hammering, but this was a very different heavy defeat to the ones we saw last year. We kept playing football, kept competing and at times we even put together some nice spells of football. Perez took his goal excellently. Today Arsenal were clinical. Four shots on target and four goals. Some of Arsenal's play was exquisite. There is a reason they have qualified for the latter stages of the champions league.

We played a relatively young team against some very expensive and skillful players and they didn't disgrace themselves. Our youngsters will have picked up some valuable experience. Armstrong and Riviere got more game time and we came through the game with no more injuries.

Janmaat suspended for Spurs is a negative. So is the way we gave the ball away too easily.

We take it on the chin, dust ourselves off and move on for an important week of football.

Bad day at the office. Couldn't really blame Pards, big players let us down. Colo and Tiote had shockers.

Probably due to them playing alongside Willo, Gouff, Sameobi and having a 19 year old GK in goal and rushing back strikers in the hope they can nick a goal. Having players alongide them playing in wrong positions. Some of it Pardews fault some of it not! This game was designed for Anita to play alongside Colback and Tiote in my opinion and Cabella on the pitch alongside Perez.

Arsenal should have been there for the taking tonight, yet we looked scared. Fearing the worst for the upcoming games now.

    Have to agree.

Tiote tends not to play well when he "over does it". This inevitably is when we do not play a natural "playmaker" such as Cabella, De Jong, Cabaye etc.

Same applies to Colo with Willo beside him on Willo's current form. Willo is whole hearted but a very limited player and when he doesn't have confidence then he becomes a liability. I would pity anyone playing alongside Willo on current form.

Quite possibly, though Willo was not that bad. Colo just got into "fanny on" mode but was having to defend a lot more than usual. Largely because an Ivory Coast midfielder kept giving them the ball. Tiote is among the most inconsistent players in the league. When he is good, he is very good. When he is bad, he is suicide bad. He really hurt us with his passing. I thought Gouf was average and never really involved. Sammy was terrible. We still need a centre back, and they need to from here or somewhere like the eastern block. Not some ill fitting type like Mbiwa.

When Abeid is fit, I am in no doubt he and Colback are the way to go. Anita never plays. We'd be better off selling him. We can then look for a couple of options. If he doesn't fancy Anita, no point in retaining. Tiote seems to get picked because he is Tiote. Being honest, we've looked a better team without him.

Have to say, I think young Alnwick struggled, and a GK loan is a must.

Mate Williamson is a f**ing donkey. Slow, s**t, out of position constantly and if he plays next week we could be in real trouble. A stat said we have conceded 20 of our 22 goals this season when Willo has played. I don't like Saylor but I would rather him playing or dummett at CB than him.

I agree totally on Tiote though. Our record with him playing this year is f**ing abysmal. He is an unbelievable liablility. He will get sent off next week or literally give a goal away due to his awful passing.
