when jozy shoots he does well to concede a goalkick!

Heskey at his peak, all day long!

Altidore stays just onside, ball whipped over, he comes within a whisker of contact. Same situation, just more accurate reporting.

Hate to say it but give me Emile any day of the week. Even the age he is now.

Stop making excuses for him mate and admit it, he ****ed right up.

He's staying onside? ok, so he knows the ball is coming in, why is there no anticipation from him? he's a donkey and he has to go.

We're desperate for goals mate, but I think I'd sooner play with 10 men or give one of the kids a chance than see Altidore in a red and white shirt again.

Not defending him at all, just being fair as he was just behind his marker and easy to see, Larson whipped the ball over and Jozy was straight in but the ball was fractions away from him. My gripe is that he is now being made a whipping boy. For me today Wickham saw plenty of ball but achieved nothing, same meat different gravy.

To be fair mate that was the best chance of the match, 3 foot from a gaping empty net, keeper stranded, how easy does he need it?

Agreed Wickham saw more of the ball and didn't threaten much, but he did force a save later on with a good shot near the edge of the box. Neither team created much but from 3 feet into an empty net, you simply have to score.

Same old meat, same old gravy and to be honest they both taste ****e.

He doesn't cut it and needs to leave. It just hasn't worked out for him both parties need to give their mouths a wipe and move on.

Didn't see the game or any of the highlights yet but became apparent to me a long time back that a blind, severely mentally disabled and crippled version of Frank Spencer would be ten times the player Altidore could ever be and that's being kind to the bloke.

Now Altidore didn't play badly today. He missed an absolute sitter but otherwise he did ok. He really will never score again for us I don't think.

Still though mate, he could run round aimlessly in circles in the box garn on about Betty and the ball could bounce off his head and go into the net which is more probable than Altidore scoring.
