Viewed in isolation - maybe you're right. Unfortunately viewed as part of 2 wins in a **** load of games it is very concerning.
Bollocks. Of course it does. In a battle you need your players to go out and do just that. We didnt roll over we got better. If they hadnt have done that Bruce woulda known he was in the ****. You need to see your players stand up when things arent going well, which they did.
Each to their own but i dont see it being much good if we put in 20 "good performances" and dont get another point.
It matters going into the next game. If we'd buckled & laid down to them it'd have been more worrying going into next week's game.
It doesn't count for much (due to our lack of goal threat) but we have got a "result" in 9 of our 16 games. Clearly throwing away 2 points against each of Stoke, Newcastle and Arsenal hasn't done us any favours.
Don't like to say anything but surely the challenge on Aluko by Mikel was exactly the same as Huddlestone's when he got a yellow?
Yes, I usually record it just in case but I forgot but luckily I got home in time to record it. I'm going to watch MOTD first. I like ballet!
I wasn't sure about the first goal but Davies was thinking he had to go to Costa and told Robertson to pick up Hazard which he didn't do. Other than that the players did ok against a fantastic side that wasn't at their best. Good to see Meyler and Bruce - what a fantastic tackle - having good games after all the stick they get.
I'm sick of this ****ing diving and panto crap in football these days Willian, Diego Costa, Cahill.. well played to the Royal Chelsea Ballet Company
He flies through the air like a donkey. Cahill roundly condemned on MOTD as well as the awfulness of Foy's performance.
From the highlights the ref was poor. But it was ****'s trick after ****'s trick from Cahill. What a ****.
The Burnley result still irritates me. Not just the 3 points we didn't get but we gave them their first win and they look a lot better since then. If we'd beat them they might still not have won a game by now. And it was such an avoidable loss as well.
