I just can't see him being benched for the biggest league game of the season. Lots of other reasons too IMO...no matter what, he performs in this fixture and will be the one who other Liverpool players will draw their strength from, without him I can't see anyone else really being up for it. He was dropped for Real game and I can't see Rodgers doing it to him twice. And most importantly, could you imagine the backlash Rodgers must be thinking if he drops Gerrard and you lose? The yanks won't get the fact it may have been a wise move, they'll look at the media comments and see it as another poor decision. Rodgers won't risk that...but that just my thinking.
