    3-5-2

    Macgregor
    Chester Dawson Davies
    Elmo. Rosy/Robbo

    Meyler hudd jake

    Hernandez Jelavic

Solid at the back and strong up front with two work horses in midfield and a great passer.

Let's go for it today lads.

Solid and disciplined at the back.

    Hard running upfront.

    Tough tackling in midfield.

    Job's a good 'un.

Be over the moon with a point mind.

Will get nothing from this game. We are in a form slump and will do well to keep the margin to 2 goals. It is live on TV here at 2am so will watch a full replay over Sun breakfast.

    I think we'll batter them 0-0.

I'm trying to be patient with Hernandez, but for much of the time when he's on the pitch it's like playing with 10 men. Today's not the day for him - I'd sack him off and let Brady roam between the midfield three and Jelavic.

    The ever impressive Liam rosenior.

Falling into the relegation zone is not nice," said Rosenior. "But I find you sense people's character in a situation like that. And who is willing to fight and scrap.

"Every single player wants to scrap, not just those in the team now. When we score, everyone on the bench goes up. We are all in this together and it has always been like that.

"We are always up against the odds and we continue to fight to prove we belong in this league. We have honest lads. You can't pigeon hole people and say those who have signed more recently are different to anyone else.

"This is a group. Every single member of this squad is an honest lad. They all work hard. Everyone has a dip in form. But when you have characters and people who are willing to stand up and be counted, you always have a chance."

A great professional. The likes of him and Quinn (not to mention Bruce Jnr, Meyler, McShane, Harper, Aluko) make for a very cohesive squad, compared to the dummy-spitters who don't get into the starting XI at other clubs.

If we concede within the first five minutes it'll be a cricket score.

One good thing for anyone looking for reasons to be optimistic against the best team in the land: Fabregas is suspended. As good as they are, they can't replace him with like-for-like.

    Is Matic available?

He was missing against Newcastle and it showed, allegedly.

    He is some player mind.

He really is. After years of Mikel failing to fill Essien's boots, they've got a proper player sitting there now.

Apparently Matic is back, but Courtois is out. Cech is a top-class replacement, but Courtois is frankly incredible, so it's a blow to them.

Matic back after ban for Fabregas who is banned for this one.

Real dilemma for Jose that one.

    Fix bayonets.

I predict this thread to go one of two ways:

    1. If we lose, it will become poodle central like all the other match threads have been recently.

    2. It we win or draw, it will become arse-licker central, and everyone will suddenly stop hating on Bruce for a bit.

Chelsea have the best 'Home' record in the Premier League and we have the worst 'Away' record. I thought we'd nick it against Brom but if we couldn't score against them I cannot see us scoring against Chelsea.
Most people are expecting us to get hammered so our lads have nothing to lose by throwing themselves into this game.
This is one of the most formidable teams in the Premier League but Newcastle showed that they can be penetrated.
I fear we will be hammered 4-0 but will be cheering our lads on at 2.00am (Oz Time) regardless. Hernandez will have to start 'putting in a shift' very soon.

QPR have the worst 'Away' record so far.

I was given a 'bum-steer' my friend - Sunderland, Swansea, Burnley, Leicester and (as you said) QPR all have worst away records than us.
