Hopefully we get there, who would you like to face-

Preston would make it a large gate 70000+ plus.

Notts County would be a crowd of 55000 to 60000 crowd.

Walsall would be a crowd of 50000 to 55000.

We will sell all tickets we recieve, as we always do when a Wembley appearance comes along.

Walsall would only bring 20000 at the most, Notts County 35000 and wed easily clear 45000

If it was Walsall and they only sold say 20-30,000 would we get more than our normal 40,000 ish tickets, like a crtain non-league club did forever ago?

I'm pretty confident - a two legged southern final against Gillingham should take away the upset factor as quality should count over 180 minutes. Need to ensure that we keep it tight in the first leg and don't concede. If we do lose and Gills set up hyper-defensive to protect what they've got, things might get dicey.
Regarding potential crowds, I think that bot Preston & Notts County would sell out their allocation. Big clubs with proud histories - weren't they both founder members of the football league?

    Proud histories certainly.

Not sure Notts Co would sell more than 20,000 tickets though. They've never had massive support even when in the old First Division.
I could see Preston selling out their allocation....

Preston aren't in the competition still are they?

My family are Gillingham supporters so the 5 times we are playing hem this year will be interesting for me.

    #city fan at heart.

I assume that we would get a share of the gate money - so if a sell out would be good for us too

Wasn't we all thinking that a few seasons back when playing Cardiff in the play offs semi? Beat them twice that season, on form we were their bogey side at the time only for them to win 1-0 at Ninian Park and keep us out the second leg.

As others have said, I'm not getting overly excited yet as it could be down to one goal to decide who goes through. They score one or more at their gaff we will have to come out the traps firing, and then they could pick us of on the counter.

Doubt it, when we played Carlisle in the final we got 45k and even though we could of sold loads more. They wouldn't give it to us due to segregation issues. Ridiculous really.
