Almost impossible to win the Albert Bartlett from the front Boris. I know the race gets some stick, but Brindisi Breeze's win is IMHO one of the all time great Cheltenham festival performance - absolute poetry in motion.
That could easily be the case chaps. I think you were both big fans of his last year weren't you? He's got big question marks in my mind. I did like his jumping though and thought he had a lot in hand against some decent 140 ish rated horses today. I'd imagine he'd need to run a stone better to be in the mix but that could be in the locker. As it stands, I imagine he will lead in the RSA like he always seems to do and be beaten 2 or 3 out.
That Man of Mine 5:30 Wolver Backed down from 10/1 into as low as 3/1 The Jamie Osborne barn are never far away when the bananas are down! Good Luck
He was one of my lays of the meeting last year Bob, you and I were both strong on the Mullins faller, but have to say he is one of the most impressive staying novice chasers ive seen, looking at the RSA market I see nothing in his league.
Big easy 9/4 seems worth a punt at 9/4 in the 3.15.hobbs yard flying atd mo and has already had a winner today
Well done Smokey -lovely battling win for Starluck. Bothy was just plain ****e I'm afraid - possibly not helped by the rain
He was my boy all last season Bobster. Ran one bad race and boy did you lot give me some stick about him. Was always going to make a chaser and delighted that he has taken to it so well. Not backed him this year mind...!
I was massively in the Blaklion camp but he rather blotted his copybook last time. He may make amends tomorrow. I like the Pipe horse for the bumper but lets face it the main protagonists have yet to be seen. I am also really interested in Lord Windermere as I think its a weak division and last year was not the fluke a lot have written it off as! He will be carefully campaigned with the goal in mind.
Apologies chaps. Confused myself. Windermere has probably never run a better prep race than LTO to be fair and i wouldn't be surprised to see him be in the mix again in what looks an average renewal again.
