You are missing Russell Brand having a go at everyone, especially Farage, from pre-prepared cue cards. He's just been very effectively called out by by a member of the audience.
Not any more, was disappointed to see Family Guy isn't on until later, but there is a great programme on BBC3 about the blokes who cleared roadside bombs in Afghanistan. We get the politicians we deserve, but these blokes deserve better. One of them, once he thought an area was cleared, would stamp all over it, because he couldn't bear the thought of one of his colleagues following him being injured by something he missed.
Brand is on the ropes. He's never been challenged like this before and he's slightly stunned. Needs a breather.
Neither Swords. I voted Labour consistently up to and including 1997 and then we got Blair. Last time I voted Lib Dem and they put the Tories in power. I will vote Green next time.
Mordaunt got away with that in what was was a pathetically impotent show. Farage and Mordaunt got off with that very lightly. Brand made himself look like a twat although he began the show like a 'fire brand' he petered out like a spent ten second 'firework.' ( Anyone pick up on what I did there... Thought not! ) Creigh spent her time arguing about policies that were actually initiated by her own party and tried to carry it on without any irony whatsoever! It was a complete and pointless crock of ****. As someone else said above, the only person who came out of it with any kudos was a fecking Times journalist. Hence why I don't do politics.
You may as well stay at home and save the wear and tear on your knees Stroller. The Greens won't be interested in getting them fixed mate should they give up the ghost. Great if you want pedestrianised streets that you won't be able to walk on though.
You're right Nines. I've never seen Brand beaten into a corner before but he was tonight. Normally he airs his politics on chat shows and one on one interviews where he has a captive audience and he's in his element. Tonight he was forced out into the open and he took a fair few knocks. He wasn't mauled or anything like it but he certainly met his match with Farage and a few in the audience. He's backstage now licking his wounds..................and Mordaunt's **** probably
I thought you said you don't do politics, Nines. Fact is, I'm as disillusioned as many others, but I believe that you should vote or be quiet. Voting Green will be my protest.
