Best of luck Chelsea i don't know how you've come to land on that one but lets hope you see a return for the investment. I personally would be on Rare Bob at 20s if i was looking to take a gamble with one at a big price

    Good luck indeed Chelsea.

These races are tbh an anathema to me...can't stand them...generally about regressive beasts and trying to figure out which retains most abilty.

Having said that, yours is with the master of these events and pieces of recent form in the Spring/Summer give him claims.

He looks targeted for this given his pipe opener over timber and Walsh coming over for the ride but still a leap of faith to punt on him.

Still, thats why he is the price he is.

Hope he gives you a good shout.

Dexter old chap, your post does an extreme disservice to the wonderful beast that is Balthazar King! Although I am equally certain that a great number on here would echo your sentiment.

Unusually,he hasn't been dropped a single pound since his last run over fences 20 months ago.

For that length of inertia, especially at his age, they drop up to 7lb's.

Where on Earth do they get KEEP ON TRACK's mark from. Beaten in this last year off 116, won nothing since and yet in this time running off 137...! Based on last years race PASQUINI ROUGE would have a very decent chance.

The only racehorse owner I know has horses with Enda Bolger and he gave me Chelsea's horse as a sure thing at the Festival earlier this year so they clearly fancy it for one of these races. However if there's any justice surely Any Currency has to get his head in front at one of these.

I think so too, but needs to buck the losing habit - Higher in the weights now than when second in this 12 months ago but has produced two further cracking efforts round here, short-headed by Balthazar King at the festival and close fourth behind the same horse last month when not helped by the terms; every chance back in a handicap and 13/2 looks good value <ok>
