I've been complaining about the queues in the north stand all season - they're a joke. You need to get there about 15/20 minutes before kick off if you want to be in before the teams come out.
Maybe if people want this atmosphere they're always complaining about they should get their arses in by half 2 and start the singing off!!
I read the post earlier in the day and thought the same thing, but then thought **** it, isn't it obvious? There are always those who must be last minute (because of work, whatever), bless em, but there are loads who like to push the limit, arrive late (well served), then sit and complain, forget folk are trying to watch the same game as them (they're behind you - yes, it's a pantomime) and then come away and say joesoap did **** all - when they were on their third piss break, besides half time, which they left early for and came back late. God help the supporter who turns up, sits and watches the warm-up, who really watches all of the game and measures performances. Singing is a joke, it's not singing. It's tribal chanting, humorous, threatening, supportive or just downright lewd and baseless - the sad thing is that, if you exercise your reasonable right to watch the football, in your own way and not join in with those so-called singers, then you are berated and ridiculed. The sad thing is that the majority of the ridiculed simply pay their money, support the team and take the rough with the smooth, as we all do - what they don't do is enter into the insults, misplaced irony and anal banter that is becoming prevalent on these threads.
