Nice to hear from Les that a motivational tool used at Spurs is "You could be the next one to go to Real Madrid"! LOVE that special relationship.

 

Several times just in those few minutes Dembele missed decent passes only to piss about on the ball then pass backwards. Les spot on about how Dembele basically wants people to challenge him.

 

I thought that...what a ****ing bizarre thing for a manager and coach to say to our players...no wonder they were sacked!

 

I don't know what's more farcical, the whole situation with the lights or Slaven Bilic's hat.

 

Only the floodlights lost power? How dodgy is that?

Not a bad half, really. Some nice stuff and created a few bits and pieces without giving them much of a sniff of our goal.
Rose has been caught out of position too often for my liking and Chiriches has pissed about on the ball a bit too much, but the rest has been decent.
Need to make a little more in the last third and test the keeper, but we've played a lot worse with stronger sides recently.

 

Dembele having a good game and Paulinho looking a bit sharper. Walker is making a difference already good to see him back. Overall I think we should have scored by now, we have made a number of good openings without taking advantage.

 

Soldado needs to just put his foot through it when he gets a chance rather than trying to fineness it in

maybe its the pitch but I don't think I have seen so many short passes from Spurs in one game.... and then all the faffing around on the ball.. what do they coach these guys The thing that is really annoying is none of the team seem to care...
