Spuds will never finish above Arsenal. Even when we have a **** season and hand it to the Spuds on a silver platter, the silly ****s always find new and inventive ways to **** it up for themselves.

They've given us, Lasagna-gate, Fullop-gate, Ghost goal-gate and even that season when Henry returned and the dozy spuds were banging on about him being 'over the hill and will ruin his legacy' and he went and bagged us the points to finish above the spurs once again.

They know Arsenal are superior to them and subconsciously they know that their place is below us, even when we have a crap season, they are destined to out-crap us. I think this might be the season where, having beaten them 3 times last season, West Ham and Fat Sam will overtake Pooch and his band of overpriced flops.

The difference is, I don't think we ever go into a season claiming we're going to finish above Chelsea

Twice in the last 10 years Tottenham should have finished above us and they managed to **** it up

Fair point. Spuds did insist that the London power shift is about to happen.

I think some of you, claimed Arsenal would challenge City for title with Sanchez

More gibberish. Didn't you hear about City winning in Rome with the spine of the team missing?

  6. The phrase "North London Power-Shift" actually came from a worried Gooner. I forget which one.

The odd unscrupulous Spurs fan has continued to use this phrase in a pathetic attempt to wum the Gooners. I wish he'd give it up and help to keep this site wum-free.

    Constantly...

They neglected to mention roma had many players missing too. Wonder why............ Ah we all know why... A desperate attempt to make a small club important.

Superb performance by City; funny how United are the new noisy neighbours, spending away, no European football, and bleating about how they are going to do this and that.

Facts are Chelsea and City best teams in country and will most likely dominate the Prem all season.

They are the best-run clubs, with the best managers, best players, best academies.

Both are in the next phase of CL, while United twiddle their thumbs.

Strange how your manager thinks its poor and wants to shut it down so he has more money to buy players.
and ££££ have not produced anything yet and probably will not produce any players of note (not for ££££)

Best run clubs <laugh> jog on

City are far from a small club. They have more funds at their disposal than the rest of the premiership put together. They are, in all but name, owned by an Arab oil state. Only FFP hinders them being more dominant.

    Very strange.

Stranger yet that loss making entities can be considered well run. Must make rangers, pompey and Leeds absolute geniuses.

Ah yes. The true test of the big club.

Trillionaire oil baron, slave owning owner? Check

    MASSIVELY MASSIVE!!

They are a small club with rich owners. It will take a whole lot more to even be considered anything more.

Imagine Accrington stanley had zillionaire columbiam cartel drug lords as owners. Would they be suitably massive too?

    My predictions:

    1. (1st) Chavs - plastic flag waving lot have bought well and are bound to win the league.

    2. (4th) Arsenal -you just know under pressure they'll put in a good run and Wenger will again buy himself some time.

    3. (6th) Spuds - really difficult predicting 5th-9th. Can NUFC & Saints stay there? Will Everton come back into it? Liverpool? Swansea? A lot of teams not playing particularly well but with potential.

    4. (12th) West Ham - I think they will drop off after Christmas but still have a good season.

    5. (14th) Palace - Good team on their day. Could finish anywhere from 12th to 17th.

    6. (18th) QPR - Nothing against QPR but their manager looks demotivated and they're not performing. Good chance they're going down.

Ah yes. Someone points out the flaw in calling city a big club = bitter.

Small club fan logic at its best <whistle>
