have been told by close source the crown prince of dubai mohammed al maktoum will push ahead with plans to purchase lfc. i hope to god this is true!!!!
I doubt the Maktoums have money to spend on a football club (or will be allowed to). They are still in hock to the Abu Dhabi ruling family.
Another club who cant do it properly. Is that what liverpool really want? Has it become that desperate?
All clubs have owners and investors, some have more money than others this is just part of modern football your club has just benefitted from the purchase of a number of players funded by investment by the club.
Uir is worried. I am not. That ain't happening cos if they buy anyone it will be west ham with the Olympic stadium and that lahndan However another billion or so investment in the liverpool area would not go astray
Worried about mito? Any shakes could only spend the money earned by the club anyway. Unless your not planning on playing in europe...
Would be a shame because FSG haven't done much wrong IMO - they are learning all the time and are trying to do the rights for ensure this club is self-sustainable. They have spent a lot of money on players, backed the manager, taken positive risks (employing a young manager), and have begun work on the redevelopment of the club. Even if we were to get some mega-investment, our spending would still be restricted due to FFP (although I'm sure there's ways around it!).
im sure majority of liverpool fans dont want it, ultimately its down to the board amd whoever else holds a share. you probably already knew that though
im sure majority of liverpool fans dont want it, ultimately its down to the board amd whoever else holds a share. you probably already knew that though. to add, your team is buying their way to success, proof that without fergie or major financial backing (as much as city and chelsea) you are a club that cant do it properly. also op is talking bollocks
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...es-hold-Dubai-talks-alongside-Rick-Parry.html Its from November and says it was "personal" business. Dont know what parry was doing at jw's personal business. Also says Liverpool looking for shirt sponsorship or stand naming rights.
