Absolutely not. Dalglish might have won a meaningless cup, but he also heaped shame and embarrassment on the club with some of his signings (Carroll) and his continued buffoonish support for Suarez's racist comments. In the season Hodgson had, he was no worse than Dalglish's full season, Benitez's last season and Rodgers' current season. The only embarrassment heaped on the club during his reign was purely as a result of the fans's appalling treatment of him and total lack of support.
Sousa laid the foundations for Martinez, who then built on them for Rodgers, who in the end got the vinegar stroke and won the playoff lottery. Rodgers then got lucky after Kenny got Suarez in and United/Spurs were terrible to allow him a top four finish. But spun king £26m on Lallana.....about £16m more than his worth shows to me he is a chancer and on his way of you are beaten by United or January at worst.
but pj... didn't laudrup then get even more lucky on the back of rodgers making swansea survive in the prem cos strangely many managers.... well struggle badly in the prem... your man martinez knows all about struggling badly in the prem also you are so prone to gross exaggerations... we only paid 25mil for lallana
Was Dalglish dizzy afterwards? Now I think Ive finally managed to figure out what you're trying to say (your last sentence is awful, and just on this alone you cant be taken seriously - what team is January btw? Where are they in the league?) I'd like to say that...... yes, we have been crap, BR has been crap but the great Martinez still has you in our shadow in the league Thoughts?
wrong! the **** had us in the bottom 3 in the prem and made us think we should be grateful we got a ****ing point at HOME!!!! to ****e, he is the most defeatest twat i have ever seen manage, thank **** he is the national coach as we have been ****e there for 20 odd years, so no loss. fans appalling treatment of him lol, who do you support?
Everyone at the time was happy with Keane. Aqualni was an odd one with the injuired he had but when he did play he was good, not our fault he didn't fancy the prem at all. But I was very happy with Keane.
Rafa and Houllier have to be the leading managers for me. They brought a continental professionalism to the club which made us more disciplined and competitive. They also won trophies and has us in the top 4. Rafa has to get it for me and I truly believe he could have achieved greatness had he not been caught up in the politics. His lasting legacy is the academy which he developed and turned into world class. His vision was for the club as a whole, not just the team.
