"We haven't been good enough over the course of qualification. There is disappointment, but now we have to fight for the rest of the season." BR Is that the 'royal we', Brendan, old son?
Yes he got lucky, and yes, call me small minded but I'm loving watching him being exposed for the average manager he's proving to be
I'm more than happy to be called small minded on this one. I like to think i don't have too many irrational dislikes but LFC is one and he is the perfect man for them right now!
I see he has learnt the Liverpool way of blaming anyone but himself/his side. Maybe that red card was soft (although the bloke did turn and raise a hand which is always risky) but 5 points is a pretty woeful effort and the only win came with a late penalty... Already moaning about having to play Thursday/Sunday as well...
and don't think the knock-out stages are till February anyway... Never really seen the difference between Wednesday/Saturday and Thursday/Sunday but then I live in the real world when people have to work for long hours almost EVERY day. They should just get on with it...
I have had a truly rational dislike of Liverpool FC since the 6th round replay in 86, Dalglish whinging on to the referee the whole match and Rush falling over Coton's hands. A lifetime hatred of them was born that night and I have taken great pleasure in seeing them fail to win the one title they crave for the last 25 years! Watching Mr Integrity struggling just adds the icing on the cake. "Scousenfreude" anyone?
I differ.... I have lived in Liverpool.. great city etc... and have followed Liverpool especially since Johnny Barnes went there.... They do deserve better IMO
