With Lucas and Allen in front of the back four, Lovren instead of Toure might not be the massive disaster we all think. Depends how disciplined they are. The front four is a mixture of four different tactics though... Gerrard is looking to play a killer pass for a runner (Sterling) or get the knock down from the front man (Lambert) Sterling is looking to use his pace but won't get the space to do so stopping Gerard's killer pass in the process. Hendo will run press and harass. No support from the others will make this a pointless exercise. Hell spend the night passing to Gerard. Lambert wants crosses. Sterling, Hendo, Johnson and Enrique won't give him them. Least not earlier enough for him to take advantage!
**** team that. We all expected it though, let's be honest. What does is take for the players that came in to all play a game? Manq and Borini not even on the bench while Johnson and Gerrard/Lambert are starting. Pathetic. 0-2.
Nah, not me. Don't care if it's a flukey, undeserved, Man Utd-esque travesty that we go through as long as it's legit.
He just doesn't like him apparently. In BR's eyes having 3 AM's on the bench is better than having 2 AM's and a striker. And in case anyone says Borini isn't fit - https://twitter.com/borinifabio29/status/541377966253805568
Markovic was "one for the future", and hasn't really shown much to show that he's worth a starting place. Also, Lallana cost more, is older, and is also on the bench.
