To be honest i dont want him, hes a good player but we have enough players in the wide areas.

We should be focusing on a young fast striker, somebody who could develop into real class, to be honest i would just throw 15+ mil at sturridge i think hes going to be awesome.

Erding/Erdinc might be a good signing if we get him, i wouldnt say no, but if we bring intwo strikers we should think about getting rid of a few such as mcloven and maybe send ranger off on loan.

 

I said last week I was fairly certain he's going to Villa, looks like the fee or wages have put us off Zog.

Yeh i just listened to the inteview was very enjoyable

I wonder who the offensive midfielder will be if we do indeed sign one, i cant see it being n'zogbia and with such a packed midfield i can see some players being grumpy next season.

 

could still be the Zog, (fingers crossed). I'd say one or two will get moved on too (out of routledge/smith/guthrie/Barton?)
With the presumed 451* we'll be playing and a bit of rotation coupled with injuries, we should be able to keep everyone happy.

Mixed feelings for me. Zog is undoubtedly a good player but I remember what a winging primadona he was last time.

With the competition we will have for places in midfield I am concerned that he will throw his toys out of the pram again if he doesn't get as many starts as he wants. He has never liked sitting on the bench and his time at Wigan will not have helped in this regard.

He also appears to be asking for big wages.

If we get him I'll be philosophical about it and won't complain, but if we don't get him i'm not going to be at all bothered.

 

Like I said on another thread, never the right questions get asked. All callers are vetted before they get on air. There was only 1 caller who actually layed into Pardew really.
