As with all rockstar games, La Noire is superbly polished with a storyline Hollywood would be proud of, the facial animation is brilliant which it needs to be as it's the way you tell if someone is lying to you.
You really get attached to the main character as he rises from patrolman to detective, everyone must play this game.

Never liked burnout at all, prefer forza and shift.

Don't know if anyone has any gaming quirks to share... On Vice City, the 1st mission "The Party" I remember on the PC version when you drop Mercedes at the Pole Position club, she walks through the hallway like a model, very ladylike. On the PS2 version, she walks into the PP like a cowboy strolling into a saloon, lol. Legs apart, spring in her step...
Anyone noticed that? Or it was just me? Any other gaming quirks?
The Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX demo only had one arena, but there was a wall where if you did some trick on it, you'd go through to the outside where there were a few ramps, was so excited when I discovered that! :p

thought it was brilliant. The only thing I didn't like was when you'd pick up weapons from lockers, dead guards, etc, it wouldn't add to the ammo you already had - instead you'd end up with 7 Desert Eagles or whatever. Thankfully they fixed that on Silent Assasin.
You should have seen my face when I played SA for the 1st time and got my hands on the twin SilverBallers (you could only use one AMT Hardballer on 47). Those poor pigeons in the church courtyard sure got it...

Am into Bulgarian nightlife of the 18th century & Yugoslavian steam engines. Does this count as a topic we can discuss?

Does anyone own any of the Elder Scrolls games? I was probably too young for the early ones, but Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion is my favourite game ever. I spent days and days of uninterrupted gaming. I can't wait for the new one to come out 11/11/11. That'll be my uni studies put on hold for months (not that I'll do much in the 1st year).

I also loved the Assassins Creed series. Maybe didn't notice how **** the first one was as I was a bit younger but I loved Brotherhood.

Also an avid Football Manager player!!

I loved morrowind GOTY edition, but hated oblivion.

I just hated the way monsters leveled up with you in Oblivion, in Morrowind you would go into one of those castles and fight a dremora lord at lvl 3 and they would kick you all over, so it was satisfying going back at lvl 20 and kicking them all over, in oblivion i fought one at lvl 3 and kicked its arse, I then got to the 1st gate, beat that easy and never went back to it. I do have some mods for oblivion now though so may install them and see what its like (pretty sure one is to get rid of the level system and make it more like Morrowind, and another is a huge texture pack that makes it look fantastic. oscuro`s oblivion overhaul i think it is.

agreed! Wonder if they'll be a sequel? I'm sure there's plenty of material to work with.

Just remembered an old favourite of mine, Sports Car GT. Brilliant game which I probably lost doing a System Restore or something.
