Not sure if Toby will be back but Maya looked sound last night so not too worried there. I'm not sure playing both Mane and Long has worked so I think I'd start with Reed on Saturday and push Davis forward. Vic was a tank again last night and should easily dominate the Burnley midfield so its an ideal tiome to blood Harrison. I'm heartened by the fact that we played well with important absentees, but would hope Toby is back. It's possible as he was only a doubt for yesterday, so fingers crossed. Maya has shown he can do a job for us...kudos for him as he has had little game time. Wanyama avoided getting another yellow, so thankfully he is available (I think he was that close to a suspension ?). These are the games that will be the most important for us in the end. I would drop Mane as well...been a disappointment lately. P.s. glad the media have all been distracted by the European matches.

Well its time to repair and pump the bubble back up. We played well against utd but didn't take our chances and got punished for some very poor defending. Burnley should not be underestimated and in my mind will put on a better performance than what we saw from utd last night. This will not be easy and unless we get that killer instinct back and cut out the silly mistakes then we could be in for another disappointing result.

Good idea to move on rapidly to the next match...what with that and the European matches this week, it will be like the last week hasn't happened.
I would like to see some info on the Burnley team, I find myself in total ignorance about them as a whole, who else is a threat other than Ings? Juke box is there now isn't he?
Their only other scorers apart from Ings (4) are Boyd (2), Arfield (1), Barnes (1), Kightly (1), and Wallace (1). Boyd looks a bit of a handful whenever I've seen them, and Ings is very sharp but if we cut out his supply we should be fine. Jutkiewicz and Vokes haven't been firing at all this season.
Really looking forward to this game. Need to get back to winning games and I want that winning feeling back !
