Such a tight league...best season for years. Anybody's guess, a flow of good form can see team go from 17th to 7th with 3 wins!

My guess Play-offs could be any one of 10 teams! And 2 will start pulling away from the pack within next 2 weeks.

Town & City are in the mix...bring it on!<ok>

Just noticed that we have the same goal difference as Norwich .....do they also have a bargain basement freebie strike force ??

it shows what a bit of organisation can achieve. On paper our squad is average and even seeing some of our players performances makes me wonder how we are doing it but we are. Early days but I said the only thing that may stop our feathered friends running away with the league was their manager. Don't know if he is the reason behind their failings but their squad looks miles better than anyone else in the leagues so it appears they are massively under achieving

I agree about the budgies manager being there major failing TB, but I think we do have a decent team with some valuable/talented players. The teams in this league are very close so a decent manager is a must to achieve anything imo.

What's happening at Forest!! They're in serious free fall!

weighty I agree we have some decent players but we also have some very average ones and in addition McGoldrick looks rather off the pace (literally). The likes of Hunt/ Tabb/Anderson seem to underwhelm in most matches and neither keeper seems standout. A strong defence, an on form Murphy and the emergence of Bishop are where we currently seem to be doing really well. For the first time in a month we didn't slip back to the edge of our own box after 70 minutes last night and took the three points and Im not sure if that's because we didn't have Skuse looking backwards the whole game. MM obviously knows a lot more than me but I also feel our midfield should be stronger/ different from the team we actually put out. I think part of me just wishes we were that little bit more entertainment/ a bit less workmanlike. It gets results and full credit to MM - as I said in the previous post - organisation has played a major part in our season.

Is it me, or is there starting to become a decent chance we could play each other in the play offs?

That Norwich squad is very talented!

    3rd Plays 6th - Away 1st leg & then Home 2nd leg...
    4th Plays 5th - Away 1st leg & then Home 2nd leg...

The idea being that the teams in 3rd & 4th have the advantage of playing the 2nd leg at home..

I'd be interested in the %%% of teams that have come 3/ 4 making the play off final over the years....

Off the top of my head, Palace/ Blackpool and West Ham ( grrr 04/05 ) all went up through the play offs and I'm sure all came 6th!

That said, last season QPR nailed it despite coming 3rd.
