In my opinion, the burnley game is huge. We have to win it.

 

Disagree completely. You don't fall out the top 6 because you lose to United or Arsenal. Bloody hell, how many top 4 teams do Arsenal lose to on their way to 4th every season. Saints are good enough to get top 6...and I'd even go as far as to say possibly 4th. You've had a tough run of games. Seriously what would you have expected from those 3 games? 3 points to keep the status quo? That's all you've lost. As long as you keep doing what you're doing against the rest you'll be racking up 3 points imo. What may let you down is depth in squad, but fck me you look good under Ronald.

 

Can't really disagree with you, to be fair.
But 'warning' fans about some tough upcoming games against top four contenders - what exactly are you trying to take credit for there?

 

You could say that Mane was woefully late with that tackle, should have been in the first half! No excuse for it though, did he slip or was it simply mistimed, it looked bad from where I was at the other end of the ground.

 

I definitely thought there was a slip in there when I saw it again. Can't see how he wouldn't have been off if the ref didn't see the same.

 

In case you haven't noticed we are missing several key players at the moment, it will not take much to get back on track, if we can them all fit again and a couple of timely additions. Tadic wouldn't have started normally, he risked making his groin injury worse.

 

All teams make mistakes in every single match, the difference is that the richer teams generally have a higher percentage of punishing oppo's mistakes because their forward players are of a higher quality (and cost a lot more!).
Shane Long brings a lot to the team in terms of pressing and workrate but his finishing will never be like RVP's or Rooney's, had his chances fallen to Graziano then it might've been a different story

 

It would be nice of we had more than one chant. And sing when we are losing.

 

It would be good if we turned nasty and took it out on Burnley, not sure if we have it in us to go down that road.

 

You should see our injury list. Its like santas list just much much longer.

 

Burnley would kick **** out of you in a scrap. Play football against them though and they will stick to destroying their town centre as always.

 

Whilst there are obviously issues that we need to sort out, if I not mistaken the season is not yet half-way through? Our approach is more in the line of that we have an opportunity for the CL if we can maintain the core of the team, we're not expecting it as a given right, unlike certain other PL clubs who remain unable to accept they have lost the plot a long time ago. The last three results are disappointing but we are not ready yet for the obituary process by those who are ready to restrict the PL to 3 or 4 clubs. With the investment laid out by MU over the last two years and still playing average football, it might be appropriate if judgement on the other teams 'little' or not is withheld until a much later date in this season.

 

Yeh its a bit dull that chant. Not even motivating.

 

Any idea what Fellainis role was supposed be tonight? Seemed at times to be marking Vic, but was coming up looking a bit foolish?
