Yes but you can't ignore the fact that Manure looked sh1t and Southampton dominated and should have won. Everyone else barring City and Chelsea look mediocre. All it will take is a run of good games and we'll get our coveted 4th place.
And we're now 5 points behind United, a very rubbish United side, another nice low milestone to add to our many so far this season. Oh well, at least it's only 4 points away from the mighty West Ham for that coveted 4th place, because that's the height of our ambitions as a club these days under the great Wenger, that 4th place trophy, though with the way things are going, we might not even achieve that.
its a marathon and not a sprint ............... we will be in the running for 4th [again as ****ing usual] but **** all else, and about 30 points behind the winners. what odds can i have for Hull to knock us out of FA Cup
did you see how many players we are missing, we can't play same back 4 let us see city or chelsea missing so many players at back every single match then come back talking about quality
I think you're officially midtable now. I know how keen you are on the word "midtable" so congratulations on being "midtable".
Utd were very lucky to come away with 3 points last night, Southampton were the much better team, even Van Gaal had to admit that, and should have been 3 or 4 up by the time RVP scored again. Sloppy finishing cost them and they gifted the game to Utd. As for Arsenal, 6th isn't midtable and miraculously even having lost to teams like Swansea, Utd and Stoke, we're still only 4 points from 4th. I'm still confident that we'll finish above Utd as most of our woes are self inflicted poor defending, whereas Utd just look s**te all round. It's a fairly damning incitement on the quality of the prem this year that they are in 3rd.
It's so easy to see through all their bluster. They know how sh1t they are, if not then they really need to go on meds. We can't get any worse to be honest but they don't look like a proper team at all. There is a big difference between being off form and just being plain pants. They are the latter.
Just to remind of what the Butcher said: When you are the better team then of course you deserve more," Van Gaal told BBC Sport. "The performance was not good enough - we were the lucky team." I made it larger and into comic sans, just to make it a bit more clearer for them....
The difference being he recognises United were poor and got lucky so will endeavour to work on the problem areas. Wenger thinks everything is just peachy and it's all down to bad luck. Then again, he's thought that for a decade.
