I'm out on musical adventures again this evening so missing this. Once more, chances of being able to resist checking the score before I get home?

Always difficult LTL. Even if you can resist when its the only game you'll do well to avoid it. Shown in pubs, news headlines etc. Best of luck.

If a game coincides with me going rambling somewhere where the signal is decidedly iffy [ie, not there at all], I swear it just about pops back so that I can get the score. And especially if the Lads are a goal down..!

In the last three games we were poor in the attack. It's a combination of a number of factors; some players went off the boil, like Tadić and Pelle. Couple of key players were missing (Davis vs Villa, Schneiderlin vs City and Arsenal). And lastly, maybe because we were playing against strong teams (or teams good defensively, like Villa). So it was not very surprising, but i'd like us to try to demonstrate today that attacking prowess we boasted earlier in the campaign.

We were playing too defensively in both games I felt, our midfielders sat very deep, rarely getting forward in any attacks which isolated the font 3. Hopefully tonight we take the game to united and stretch their weak defence.

We do seem to get really unlucky with things like suspensions etc. I swear everyone is at full strength when they play us. For example - arsenal played bellerin at right back against Stoke who was torn apart, yet they were solid against us!

All gone a bit stale in attack. Last 3 teams we have played concede goals, we scored 1. Played against top teams when we have drawn a blank but I think it's more that it's gone a bit stale up front, could do with a quality attacker on the bench. We'll have that when jrod gets back. Have to hope we can dig in and the boys can click into gear again soon. Fingers crossed for tonight

Good luck tonight, I should prefer a draw but I'd rather see the Saints stay up there and challenge for the CL with us than any of the 'big four' (whoever they are, there seem to be 6 or 7 of them).
