Todays performance by certain players trying to break into the first team was none existent.

Some players are on borrowed time,i wonder if they have been told there out the door in January.

Today was a case of thank god we got through,SC saying we deserved it mmmmmmm.

MOM was our goalkeeper, i wonder why <laugh>

Yes I don't think any of them will have made Cotts consider picking them

There's a reason we pretty much have had the same side for the last 3-4 months.. our fringe players are not good enough for a team trying to get promotion.

Well wouldn't say they were all under achievers, to be fair there were only 4 of them? Kane above average, Pack lacking playing time had a couple good spells, Jet seemed "out of place?" where as Waggers did a lot of good work, and was one of the top half a dozen on the pitch if not the best for work rate and effert

I think they thought it would be an easy game so didn't try as hard, which then probably gave Telford more of a boost and when we realised it wouldn't be a walk in the park Telford grew into the game which made it harder for us to stick the ball in the net..... still though, we did, they didn't. We're in the 3rd round so all is well.

Which is exactly why we need to bolster the squad in January because if we get any major injuries or suspensions to key players, their replacements wont be good enough to get us promotion.

Which is why we struggled over the last few seasons, the players that got a go yesterday were a part of the failure.

We have a pretty thin squad and once any injuries or suspensions kick in, we need that back up.

I can make an educated guess that JET, Wagstaff feature with maybe Cunningham, Pack and Wynter but all would need to be replaced in January as well as the need for a back up goalie despite Fielding's vast improvement this season. Just wonder about Osborne, has he just been unlucky or is there anything else?

Cant see too many being brought in during January maybe 2 or 3. Keeper, central midfield back up and striker would be required.- There is always the loan market so see how Smith features.

Cunningham, pack and winter were brought in for the longer term, part of the 5 pillars, Wagstaffe, he had a good game and is a useful player at times, often played out of position does not help

SL stated we probably needed 1 more player in the Jan window! to complete the squad
