Pedro Mendes You have got away long enough asking your spewed bigoted questions. What manager in the history of the SPL has had bullets and bombs sent to him and to members of his team and supporters. What manager in the history of the SPL has been physically attacked in his dug out by opposing a manager and opposing fan and in both cases the offending club getting off scot free in both cases. What SPL manager had 24/7 police protection. Only 1, the 1 who happened to be a RC from the N of I and managing Celtic. Pedro Mendes despite all your vile writings and despite all the evil threats of your fellow fans of some of the SPL clubs, it is likely he will remain so for many years. You and your evil friends won't get him out.
I didn't say you had to attend them I'm just asking in all your years of following football can you remember another manager doing this?
What about Martin 'O' Neill? and I believe he made the motion to attack McCoist not the other way around.
Funnily enough, recent headlines around the world about 3 people with connections to Celtic FC being sent bombs made us look pretty bad. I would have thought that if your main concern was with Scottish Football's "image" on the international stage, then the attempted murders of innocent people by raving bigots should be your focus? You however seem to think a manager shouting out loud at a football match in Oz is a far more heinous affront to our footballing dignity. Why is that?
I only know about this one because you felt the need to post it on General Chat then it was moved to the Rangers board and then you posted it again on the Celtic board. I'm sure there have been other examples but because they involved a Celtic manager and you discovered the internet it's unlikely I will have heard about it.
You managed to avoid my questions too. So what you're basically saying is Lennon is the way he is because of the treatment he gets from others? Very dramatic, labelling me eveil. But I'm far from it. Lennon said himself that if he doesn't do the business he'll no doubt be out on his ear at the end of this season.
Should be my focus? The cops will take care of them and I'm sure they will get lengthy spells in jail. I simply don't see your point though. Does that give your fans an excuse to get on the way they do? I think you will find that I did not even compare the 2 incidents, so how could I say one was worse than the other?
You don't see the point because you're either being belligerent or you're a complete fool. You decide to start a childish point-scoring thread on the Celtic board about Lennon getting a bit heated in a friendly game as if it's some major world news story that's destroying the good reputation of Scottish football while completely failing to understand that Rangers, through Manchester and being fined and banned by UEFA, have done far FAR more than anyone to tarnish our reputation. Please feel free to ignore this and change tack once again though
So everytime Celtic fans storm the pitch, assault people and get turfed out for being drunk and when Lennon gets into another arguement with the referee we should always say "Well look what the guy has been through, with those packages." Wind your neck in.
You made a statement when asked "why it concerns you". You answered that you were concerned about how Scottish football might be viewed. That's it, our international standing was your primary concern. I can give myriad examples (if i was so inclined) of misbehaviour by people, fans and managers, whose behaviour was atrocious, angry though I may have been, i did not let my dislike, or in your case, obvious loathing, blinker my view, far less pretend to be outraged at an ALLEGED incident - so miniscule and insignificant in the grand scheme of things - because of the shame it would bring down on Scottish football. It's a cop out and an obvious one. I gave the example of the bomb threats as a world wide news story that brought shame down on our game and country, no other event has portrayed our game in such a bad light and if our reputation was your prime concern (which you have declared as being the case) then other events even of misbehaviour by other managers or players should equally concern you? They will not because you simply cannot stand Neil Lennon. Just admit it.
