And Giacch. However, this looks solid to allow us to be more adventurous final third.

Has not let us down when he's played. Was excellent yesterday and in the game Catts was banned! Yesterday Catts came in and played further forward. Put a lovely cross in the box which no one gambled on!!

Mags seem to be doing ok with Tiote and Colback, I would fancy our two could do a similar/better job.

for the money we paid i think both him and buckley are very good signings, should he start? when it suits gus is my answer, its a squad game nowadays, a few more tweaks in january and he's building a decent squad

No, we don't creat enough now so adding him to the midfield wouldn't do anything sorry. the lad did good against Everton & Liverpool but I would only play him if Cattermole is out of the team.

This is a very good question and the thought occurred to me when he played against Everton and bounced Lukaku. ..What would it take to raise him a couple of levels? What would you bequeathe him from the tools all the great "Little uns" youve seen from Bremner to Zola....one of them is time and there seems to be less of it around these days Or "status" is now regularly hammered by statistics
It would be great if we had a fantastic pocket dynamo who developed enough to be considered really outstanding ...first name on the sheet....recognised top player. `Seen it before...He looks slight...easily squashed....how`s he gonna survirve?...he`ll never make a player....next thing you know he`s your captain lifting the cup for you at Wembley....I love little mid field players pulling all the strings but brilliant ones are hard to find

We kept the ball very well yesterday largely due to Brid and Larsson. Catts doesn't pass it as well but obviously is a necessity for us.

I'd be tempted to play both but you probably wouldn't then play Larsson, which isn't going to happen at the moment. You'd go with 4 very attacking players ahead of those two. A striker plus 3 from AJ, Alvarez, Giacch, Gomez, Buckley, Connor etc.

Brid has time on his side though and these performances can only help his belief so that when he is needed he does play well.

Might help the lad if he gets some time as a striker rather than being stuck out wide all the time Vince

Agree, thought he was very good again, he's showing what Gus saw in him for defo.
Still not sure whether we can play both him and Catts together as we create few chances as is and not sure where we'd get the chances from if we don't have somone to create, thought Gomez played fine too along with Seb, Alvarez looking better by the game. Sorry but Jozy is just not going to make it, time for him to go, overall thought the team performance was quite good

He's done nothing to be dropped so yes he should keep his place. I fear Gus may resort to what he's done with Connor by playing Brids or Catts slightly out of position instead of adjusting the shape, just to keep his system and have them both in the team. Personally, in this system, I think it should be Fletch or Conner and Brid or Catts, never both at the same time.

We have been over this ground before and while I agree with what you say, its not getting the best out of the players available imo. I would play both Catts and Briddo, as has been suggested, with Fletcher in front of them, and just behind Whicks, or altenatively, Alvarez or Giacca behind Fletch, this is how they play in their international set-ups at times and look good. With this solid spine we have a stack of wide options, and I would prefer Lars and AJ, at the moment but there are others who can do a job out wide.

If this is Bobby Kerr your talking about, you cant have been taking much notice when he made his debut, he was the most exiting player I can remember between his debut and that thug Hunter breaking his leg he was nothing short of sensational and got rave reviews in every report I ever read.
