Oh right, so when you said you disagreed with 35% of his opinion, you're not prepared to justify that comment?

...and a minimum of 15 games before judging eh? Same you didn't apply the same logic to your failed wum post.......

My table wasn't a WUM and I've explained my problems with the method. My table is just as accurate and valid as the OP though, so if you think the LFC one is fine then you must also accept the Everton <ok>

Look at my disagreements. Look at the table. You can easily get the "about 35%" I claimed <ok>

I think Moreno looks awsome and him and Manquillo should at least be labelled potential.

As a whole I think the young signings have been good (the judges are still watching Markovic though). The older ones have been hit and miss.

So in other words, under the method bow has used, Martinez has twice as high a success rate as Rodgers.

And even if you exclude the 35% of Rodgers' signings, and Besic, Galloway and Eto'o from Everton as you can't judge them yet, Martinez still has a higher success rate.

So what you're saying is, whether it's your method or bow's, Martinez has a vastly superior transfer record to Rodgers <ok>

Give over lads! The Toffees are giving it large whilst sliding down the table. Even funnier is seeing the Mancs - they are still crap and they are supposed to have improved!! We know we are well of the pace at present but at least we are trying to get it right. So who gives a monkey's what they think?

BTW out luck is still holding. We give away 2 points and the rest of the others don't take advantage.

If you actually read my 'comments on the above section' you will realise I excluded them from the calculation.

Find you pretty condescending to be honest, and await someone to do a better table.

A lot of your comments are subjective anyway - as obviously, are my opinions.

If you want to factor a selling on value then by all means try - difficult when they haven't been sold <ok>

But there are a lot of differences between buying players to play in a settled side that have been around the same positions for years and buying for a side that is undergoing a complete overhaul and from no European football to champions league football. Lot of difference between buying a player for smaller sides like Everton, Southampton, Swansea etc and buying players for top sides like Liverpool, Man City, Utd etc.

I think its impossible to compare the 2 managers records because of those reasons.

Markovic (20) and Ilori (21) have red misses on them after a combined 5 apperances for LFC

    Completely agree.

Just thought it was funny to see astro be so condescending over bow's OP and method, then try to use the same method to wum Tobes, whilst all the time insisting that he's being 'legit'.

Not entirely surprised tho'. I reckon astro could turn a thread about the weather into a poor attempt to wum either Everton or Utd.

^I have not calculated in Tex, Can or Origi in the concluding calculations.

As for Markovic - the guy cost £20mill - not £5 mill.

For that level I expect someone to play and perform pretty quickly.

    He's done nothing.

Will he ever be worth £20 mill? I very much doubt it.

    Its money wasted imo.

3 places higher, second in the form table, 4 wins in a row.

    Not improving though.

Bit harsh mate. I agree that I expected a lot more from him but he's still only 19-20, new country, new culture, new style of play.

There is a reason why he cost £20m - because he is one of the most biggest talents in world football. I know we can't see it yet but I believe the lad has a higher ceiling of potential than Sterling - that's based on his time at Partizan and Benfica.

I would say £20m on Lovren and £25m on Lallana - two players who were expected to slot into the first team and improve us have failed dramatically.

    Yeah true.

Lovren has been the biggest disappointment. I really thought he was what we needed at the back.

Who knows, he could still become that.

It just so frustrating that nobody we have bought has really shined, grabbed the bull by the horns.

Lallana has done ok, but not enough for £23 mill.

I'd love Mark to come good, but where are the complete players bought in to get us consistently into forth place?

Buying for the future is important, but as I've said before, you can't just ignore the present - our current squad needs improving now!

We have paid top dollar for potentials which annoys me.

Who bought Aspas? No touch no strength no awareness, scouts need shooting.
Whomever decided on Badon needs a spell on the analyst's couch. A reckless gamble.
The Southampton pair cost £20m too much.
Moreno could be the new Johnson :D
Ming needs to be understudy to a better keeper
